It was night time and Sapnap had just finished his training session with Dream and he was wrapping bandages around his ankle.

He usually went to the garden that he, dream and his other friend would go to, well the dream team as they would call themselves, went to.

That however changed when Sapnap heard a snap in the bushes followed by a thump.

"Hello?" Sapnap cautiously crept closer to where the noise had occured.

All that he heard was quiet, fragile chirps and sobs.

"Holy shit!" Sapnap yelled at the sight infront of him. Sure, he trained a lot for fights but that was with dream, his best friend. He never really got to see blood. The only way he would, would be to go hunting for animals. Even that was quite rare as they had a farm set up.

So that's why he freaked out when he saw a duck hybrid infront of him clutching his side which was bleeding.

"Wha- who-who are you!?" The hybrid scurried backwards only to wince in pain.

"Hey hey it's okay, I'm not here to kill you or anything!" Did I mention Sapnap isn't the best at comforting people? He's known for his awesome bear hugs, not so much with comforting words. But, I don't think bear hugging the hybrid who's injured is a good idea.

Sapnap slowly backed away and leaned onto a tree, frowning. "Can I at least know your name?"

"It's Quackity.." Quackity stared at him in confusion.

Why isn't he attacking me?

Excitement burst through his blood as he thought, maybe, just maybe, he's different!

Obviously, as a wise man once said: all good things come to an end eventually.

Quackity's senses twitched and his eyes widened.

Sapnap seemed to notice Quackity panicked state and looked around, trying to find danger. He knew if a hybrid was looking around anxiously, shit was about to happen. Sapnap was a blaze hybrid himself, that's why he knew. Sadly those type of things only work in the nether.

"Over there!" A distant voice called out. Quackity and Sapnap paused and stared at the direction the voice had come from.

Of course it's those stupid hunters.

"Hey man I'm going to need you to trust me. And don't worry, I'm sure as hell not giving you to them." Sapnap held his hand out for the duck and tried his best to seem reassuring.

It seemed to be enough because Quackity grabbed his hand and stood up. Only to fall onto Sapnap. "Woah! Are you okay??" Sapnap grabbed his waist to keep him stable.

Quackity looked like he was about to break down and fall asleep at the same time.

Poor ducky must have been on the run for awhile

The sounds of sticks cracking and leaves rustling made Sapnap get out of his little moment and look around.

"Just take me wherever... They destroyed my home so it doesn't really matter anymore.." Quackity winced in pain as he clutched his side once more.

Sapnap nodded and picked him up bridal style, running in the direction to his house.
