Missing?

ERRISA POV

I take a step back, it's hard for me to process what just happened. As I look down, my hair covers my face. I feel so... confused? I don't know... whatever this feeling may be it's anything but good. I sigh and walk over to my bed. This whole day has been very... confusing. I sigh as I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

THE NEXT DAY

I open my eyes. I sit up and get off the bed, picking up my bag of clothes then going to change. As I walk out of the bathroom and check the front door. I see someone there, i wipe my eyes then go to the door to get a closer look. It's Zackery. I open the door and invite him in. "Yes?" I ask. "I uh... Nage and Zayden both told me about yesterday..." I sigh. "Of course, look, I wish I could un-," "No." I stop. "Huh?" I ask. "Well, I mean, I believe in spiritual stuff too, and if that's what he said then-," I sigh. "I should follow it, that's what my uncle Travis said," I state. "He sounds like he knows what he's talking about," I nod. "I just wanted to tell you about that," I smile with an understanding look. Zackery gives me a wave goodbye as he leaves.

I walk out of my temporary home and go into the woods. A few minutes in, I'm greeted by a lake. I sigh and take some wood and craft it into a boat and go across the lake. I quickly get out of it and continue on my way. I probably should've told them before I left. I don't honestly think anyone would care enough to think that I'm missing though, so I suppose it doesn't matter. I walk deep into the woods until eventually I come across a path. I walk down it and find myself in a new village.

"Welcome to LakenBurrow." I say, reading a sign. "Hm," I hum and continue my way in when two guards stop me "Oh, I apologize, I really shouldn't let my curiosity get the better of me," I say, turning away. "What is your name, Maiden?" I look back at the guards. "I could ask the same for you..." I mumble, a hum is hummed by the one on the left, I look at him. "My name is Errisa Rene Lycan," The guards look at each other then look back. "Jaine!" They call in sync. A green haired boy with white eyes walks up to us. We make eye contact for a few seconds then looks at the two guards. "Blake, Ansel, calm down on the lady, remove your swords you must be scaring her," Who I assume is Jaine says, from his name I would've thought he was a girl. Plus, I'm not even scared.

The guards remove their swords and the boy walks over to me. "What's your name miss?" I sigh. "Errisa," He moves his hand in a 'keep going,' manner. "Rene Lycan," He smiles. "What is such a lovely, and very gorgeous maiden doing here?" He takes my hand and guides me in. "There he goes," I hear Ansel murmur. "He always has a soft spot for women," Blake responds. I sigh. "I come from a nearby village called FalconCline, I came here because I wanted to explore," I say, slowly removing my hand from his. "Is that your home?" I shake my head. "No, my home is Phoenix Drop," I respond. "Oh, with lord Garroth?" I nod. "How is he as a lord?" I smile. "He's a very kind lord, he's close friends with my parents actually," I say. "Ah, well your parents should be careful for him. We don't want your parents to be harmed," I give a nervous smile. "Here, allow me to show you around," Jaine insists, I nod.

3RD PERSON POV: MEANWHILE

Zayden walks up to Errisa's door and knocks, no response, again, he knocks on the door, no response. He continues this a little bit more before going straight in. "Risa!" He calls, nobody answers. Worry runs through him, where is she? Did she already leave? They were supposed to leave together and they don't leave for another 2 days! Plus, her house is still there! Could she have been kidnapped? Zayden shakes his head and walks around. "Risa! Come on! Nage, Laine, and Zackery are waiting for you!" Zackery yells, still, no answer. At this point he's genuinely convinced she's kidnapped or something. He runs back out to their usual meeting spot.

"Zackery!" Zayden yells, Zackery, Laine, and Nage all look at him. "I can't find Errisa," Zayden says, given the one spot he looked. "Oh? Where could she have gone? I just had a conversation with her this morning?" Zackery asks, Zayden shrugs. "I'll go look for her," Zackery says. "You three stay here," He says as he walks away. As Zackery walks he feels a wash of worry come over him. But, Zayden must be overreacting, honestly, he does do that a lot.

After about 30 minutes of looking around the woods and village, Zackery has no luck and goes back to the group. Errisa is really gone. "I can't find her," Zackery says. "I'll send out guards to go look for her," Zackery says, Zayden nods. Zayden feels as if guards aren't enough and walks away to go look for her himself.

ERRISA POV

"Thanks for showing me around, Jaine! This is a big village," I say, he nods. "So, how's the village you're staying at?" Jaine asks. "Pretty good, I have had a nice time there," I smile, he nods. "Well, I see to it you must be going, would you like me to take you? I wouldn't want you getting hurt, I mean," I shake my head. "If I were to be attacked, I'm an amazing swordsman thanks to my mother and father," I respond. "Ah, well then, be sure to visit again, m'lady," Jaine says, I nod and stand up to leave.

I go to FalconCline and see nobody I recognize. I sigh and walk to the inn that I stayed at and see miss Faye. "Hello!" I say, she looks at me. "Oh my! I'm so glad you're okay, I thought you went missing..." She says I shake my head in confusion. "What..?" I ask, going up to her desk. "Yes! Zayden was going everywhere saying that he can't find you and was worried you were kidnapped or something," I laugh. "Of course not! I was out exploring!" Miss Faye nods. "I see, well you should probably go tell everyone that, there's a search party out just for you," I nod and wave bye to lady Faye.

As I'm walking around I bump into someone, we both fall. "Move! I have a missing person I'm looking for," I open my eyes and see Laine. "And who would that be?" I ask, he stands up, still not looking at me. "Her name is Errisa, why have you seen her?" He looks at me. "Oh... Wait, Errisa!?" I nod. "Mhm?" I stand up. "Zayden is worried sick about you, come on!" I smile. "Were you worried?" He looks away. "Of-Of course not! I don't care," Laine responds. "But you went looking," He sighs and grabs my hand and starts walking.

We walk up to Zayden. "Did you fin-" Zayden looks at us. "Errisa!" He smiles and runs over to me. "I thought you were gone forever!" I laugh. "Of course not, I just went exploring," Zayden looks away. "Oh," I laugh and nod and go back to my house. "Sheesh, Zayden is so persistent," I say and sit down.
