The war has been waging on for two months now and it's hard ono did break his wing and it hasn't healed yet and it's been the hardest two months ever. I'm talking to a journalist about the war and he seems interested he's fun we've been joking around but when he asks me about the battles my face goes serious and I say "Excuse my language but it's like hell on earth, when it's two armies there are 20+ casualties that I feel I coulda stopped it messes with you it's hard to come back and act like nothing happened." He says "uh wow that's not what I was expecting but let's move on what about you and fuli how's that going." I smile and say " Well that's different from the war it's going great thanks for asking." He says " I've noticed that you and the royal family have had some disputes recently what's up with that and what have they been about." I growl and say "If I told you I'd have to kill you." and he freezes terrified I burst into laughter " I'm joking haha should have seen your face haha we've been arguing over small things like moving herds and some big things like how to deal with the war or what to do with prisoners." I'm still smiling cause of my joke and luckily he laughed. Then I hear something I don't wanna hear Hyenas in the pridelands from the zebras. I say "Ugh now I gotta go I'll be back." I yell " I'm coming" to shut them up and when I get there I'm madder because it's Jasiri and her clan " I yell "Who started this" A zebra says "I did and are you gonna do something." I ask "are you new here." He says yes and I explain that their allies. Jasiri apologizes I tell her "It's fine I gotta go though."
When I get back we start talking and he asks "Can you tell me about some of the battles?" I say "Yeah"

*flashback* a month earlier

There's a report of a cheetah brigade in the pridelands so the lion guard along with a few companies of lions are going to stop them. When we arrive we find about 75 cheetahs and Kiara, Tiffu, and Zuri who seem to have been captured I joke to kion "Do we have to save Zuri." Kion laughs "Yeah sadly" We decide stealth isn't an option and I say "The best option would be an ambush but we don't have about 75 of us total so everyone pick a target if there taken find someone else." This doesn't go to plan as were quickly overtaken and encircled. I yell "No retreat" and we all yell "No surrender." And fight it's a blood bath for both sides we come out on top but not without serious casualties.
*end flashback
I say we had around 35 dead 40 dead cheetahs no captured lions 10 captured cheetahs and everyone was injured on both sides. I say "That's 75 "casualties" but I never considered injuries casualties so 35 lions and 50 cheetahs. He says "That's gotta be one of the deadliest." I say the deadliest I've been in but I think that's enough for today." He says " Alright thank you for your time." I respond "No problem but can I ask where you're from." He says "I'm from the tree of life."
I then remember Simba wants an alliance with them I say "Uh well see ya around I guess." He says "Yeah see ya."
