Daltons pov
We've decided to stop at a watering hole and I decide to try and escape so while everyone's getting a drink I run and no one notices surprisingly but I have no idea where we are so I run in the direction we came and I keep running I run for an hour or so and stop to take a break and I realize I'm exhausted but I know I need to keep going I run for another hour before I reach the pridelands.
Fulis POV
I'm still sad about what Dalton did but he saved the guard and I know he'll come back. As I'm thinking that I see dust fly up around me then I get tackled by Dalton who laughs and gives me a grin. I laugh back and lick his cheek. He says "You were expecting me to escape right?" I say "Yep." I can't help but smile. He runs off to find kion and everyone else.
Daltons pov
I'm looking for the lion guard to tell them I'm alright. I find them in the lair looking upset so I walk in with a smile and say "Hey guys what's up." I immediately sense the mood change as everyone hugs me and is super happy. They ask how I escaped and I explain what happened and then I say "I'm gonna take a nap."
