Dalton's pov just after the end of the first book

Me and Damion are carrying Nemesis to pride rock where Rafiki was Im super scared and Fulis following closely behind with her friend making sure we don't drop him. We get there and Rafiki immediately takes care of him but Nemesis is in critical condition and he might not make it so Rafiki asks me to leave and I'm mad. I don't let it show though I've gotta be tough or Zuri will never let go of it. I decide to go to my room in the lair and just think. When I get there everyone's there I say "Hi guys" trying to act like I'm ok but fuli sees through it and asks what's wrong I say "I'm fine I just want some time alone. They let me go but they know I'm not ok. I go to my room and think about what happened.
Earlier that day
I raise my arm and bring it down as a signal for the ambush.
I see a lot of lions come from hiding including kion who makes the first move scratching a cheetah in the face. I'm right next to nemesis and a cheetah whose name is Ellie I don't go for her but I go for the next closest a male about my age and we scuffle he ultimately surrenders and is taken away then I go to help nemesis who when I get there is scratched in the stomach and falls to the ground and I yell you son of a b- but I'm cut off by a elephant blowing it's trunk to signal victory at the other areas and I go to treat him and *recaps the rest of the last book* I cry feeling like it's my fault he got hurt that's when vitani walks in. And says "Dalton were you crying?" She caught me off guard and I jump and say "Uh Tani no." She says "It's ok Fuli told me bout what happened." I say "It's just I knew him before I left and I feel like it's my fault he got hurt I didn't get there in time and now he's almost dead." Vitani says "It wasn't your fault and if you did get there in time it could've been you." I "Say thanks Tani" and she walks out after wiping my eyes I talk to the guard for a minute and when I walk out of the lair I hear "crybaby dolly" from Zuri fuli heard this apparently cause she walked out too. I say it's fine when I see her. She says "You sure usually you hate her." I respond "Yeah I gotta control my anger." And we continue to walk but The next thing she yells makes me and fuli angry she says " pussy and your girlfriends a pussy too." We look at each other anger in her eyes but I say "Come on fuli let's go." She nods and we keep going while Zuri continues to yell we ignore it but I have an idea to deal with her without a fight.
Fulis POV
I notice Dalton thinking about something and when I ask he says "I'm thinkin' bout how to deal with Zuri without a fight. I have an idea but it's not something that will 100% work." I ask what is it and he says "We can talk to her parents if that doesn't work I don't know it might end in a fight." I say "Well we can try" Dalton knows her parents so when they see us coming they welcome us and Zuri's mother Tala asks "What brings y'all here." I say it's Zuri she's been bothering us specifically Dalton and you may have heard of when he had enough-" dalton interrupts me "Let's not bring that up hehe." But Tala says "We've heard what happened." Zuri had been making fun of my eye and then later kion started walking after his injuries and she started yelling names well I just couldn't take it and pounced. I hope she wasn't hurt honestly." Zuris's father Hetman says "It's okay she wasn't but that's not why you're here I assume." Dalton answers no sir I came here to talk about her doing it again *explains what happened*I and say "Hold up Tani cheered you up." Dalton says "Uh yeah she just used words but it helped no it's not cheating to talk to another girl" he laughs. I say "Of course not, "Zuris's parents say we'll talk to her about it. We thank them and leave.
