Chapter two

Meanwhile, in Ernie's Juice bar and community center, the rangers were having a nice day off, even though it didn't seem like Rita would attack, they had to be prepared in case she did, but until they stumbled across something or Zordon called them, the best they could do was have a good time, and drink a few smoothies when a breeze blew in and the rangers all turned to see what the commotion was.

"Guys?" Kimberly said surprised to see new strangers in the community center. "Am I the only one seeing this?" She had been referring to two men, one seemingly older than the other both wearing black leather jackets and dark clothes. "Did they just move here or something?"

"I don't know, I've never seen them before," Trini answered. "Maybe we should try talking to them." Billy narrowed his eyes and moved his glasses so that he could get a good look at the strangers. Something was up, people didn't just appear out of nowhere but the blue ranger decided to keep his thoughts to himself when the strangers looked at him. The taller one whispered something to his partner and left the counter to go speak with the rangers.

Before Sam and Dean could get anywhere near the ranger's table Bulk and Skull made an appearance and saw them, they were wearing almost identical clothes to what they were wearing. Sam and Dean paused as Bulk and Skull stood in front of them blocking their path.

"Hey, I don't recall ever seeing you two before." Bulk said. "Where did you come from? You know you're in our hang-out space right?"

"Really I never saw any indication that the place belonged to you," Sam answered. "Should have written your name on it." Bulk looked offended and Skull stepped in.

"You're going to be sorry for treating him like that," Skull said, chewing gum. "We know the power rangers!"

"Oh really?" Dean said and elbowed his little brother. "Did you hear that little brother? They know the rangers."

"I never would have guessed that," Sam answered, chuckling. "But I will ask where they are if these two know them," he continued. "So boys where are they?" Bulk hesitated unsure if he should say anything, the wrong words could set these newcomers off. Dean shoved a bowl of chips off one of the tables.

"Hey! My brother asked you a question!" Dean yelled. "Answer it!"

"You see um..." Bulk said gulping. "They're..out." Dean smirked and grabbed an apple off another table, he crushed it with one hand and without even flinching from the pain causing Bulk and skull to remain frozen in fear.

"They don't know," Dean said. "Come on Sammy, let's see if we can find someone who doesn't act like spineless jellyfish." The brothers laughed and pushed past Bulk and Skull. The rangers were stunned at how rude the newcomers seemed to be and even more shocked when Bulk and Skull slipped on the wet floor and Sam mocked them for it.

"Well they found something alright, the floor," Sam said, wishing he could take a picture with his phone. "And just when I thought you two couldn't get any lower."

Despite Jason knowing that Bulk and Skull deserved what they got, it still wasn't right of the newcomers to say something like that. He got up from the table even though his team told him that it wasn't worth it. But Jason also had a point, Bulk and Skull were good people they just needed help to see it. Jason and his team walked over to the newcomers and weren't afraid to say anything that was on their minds.

"Hey, you know that was incredibly rude of you two." Jason said.

"Just because you two are bigger than them doesn't give you the right to say things to them, or even laugh at them." Kimberly chimed in. They turned to glance at the two people who decided to speak to them. But when Kimberly laid eyes on Dean, she wasn't at all expecting him to be flirtatious.

"What's the matter, sweetheart?" Dean said. "We're only having a little bit of fun."

"Well she's not interested in your fun," Zach responded. "And neither is anyone else, no one else thinks it's funny." Sam and Dean blinked at him unfazed by his words. Sam approached Zack and crossed his arms getting close to his face.

"You know you should really watch what you say to me and my brother," Sam said. "Who knows, maybe we know a little secret about you guys that we can easily reveal, you best watch your back." With those last few words, the rangers watched as Sam and Dean walked out of the community center. Billy didn't like where this was going and they needed to make sure that Zordon knew what was going on.

"Guys," Billy said under his breath. "I think we should head to the command center and figure out who these guys are." However, the rangers' watches had gone off and the group had to quickly step out just in time for Zordon to tell them that there was an attack in the park and that the rangers needed to get there as quickly as they possibly could. Even though the rangers wanted to tell Zordon the situation the city needed to be protected first, they teleported to the park where a bunch of putty patrollers were attacking innocent civilians. Instantly, the rangers launched into battle fighting against the putty patrollers they hadn't morphed since Zordon had reminded them to only use their powers when necessary. They got the majority of the civilians to safety and still fought the putties, however as they were close to defeating them suddenly someone shot at them causing them to fly back and land on the ground. When they recovered the rangers sat up and saw two strange new rangers, a Maroon Ranger and a Navy blue ranger.

"You guys didn't think it was going to be that easy to stop them did you?" said the Maroon Ranger. "We wondered how long it was going to take you to come to your town's aid."

"Who are you two?" Trini asked fiercely.

"We're your worst nightmare," The Navy Ranger responded. "Carnotaurus Saber power up!" He exclaimed. The ranger grabbed his saber from his belt and challenged the rangers to a duel.

"We won't get anywhere with these two like this," Jason said. "It's Morphin time!"

"Mastodon!" Zach exclaimed.

"Pterodactyl!" Kimberly yelled.

"Triceratops!" Billy called out

"Saber-Toothed tiger!" Trini screamed.

"Tyrannosaurus!" Jason exclaimed. The rangers now morphed and took out their weapons ready to take the two as a team but the new rangers had other ideas as the navy ranger split them up by taking on Zack, Billy, and Kimberly. Despite the odds being against him the navy ranger was easily able to keep the three rangers at bay, he grabbed Kimberly's bow before she could use it on him and made her fire it on her friends.

"Zack, Billy!" Kimberly exclaimed. "What have you done?!" She wrestled her weapon out of his grip and kicked him, he felt the effect but kept fighting and used his saber to slash her across the chest. Sparks flew and Kimberly flew backward nearly crushing her two friends as she fell.

"Come on now I was expecting more of a fight." The Navy ranger said, twirling his weapon. The Maroon ranger fought Trini and Jason, noting every single move that they were trying to make, they tried to work together to catch him off guard but the Maroon ranger was faster and summoned a strange blade into his hands.

"Spinoblade!" he exclaimed and struck Jason and Trini in the chest, sending them back. The two rangers fought back harder, Jason used his own weapons but each time he struck at the maroon ranger, he would avoid it and strike Jason yet again, with full force, he sent the red ranger into his pile of friends. Trini summoned her weapons and attacked him but he disarmed her immediately and sent her to the same pile. With all rangers down and weak the two rangers rejoined each other and fist-bumped each other. "Brother, I think it's time that we showed them what true power is all about." The Maroon and Navy rangers called out to their weapons, the maroon ranger turned his blade into a gun and combined it with the Navy ranger's saber to create a crossbow.

"Power up!" they said at once, the ranger team stood smoke coming from their suits but when they saw that their crossbow was starting to power up and braced for impact. However, before it could even hit the rangers were teleported away to the command center causing the navy and Maroon rangers to get angry. Rita was not going to be happy that their job was incomplete.
