Chapter seven

Dean woke up in the Command Center with a jerk, he couldn't remember what happened and didn't understand where he was.

"Take it, easy Dean," Castiel said, sending calm waves from his grace to ease Dean's anxiety. "We're in a different world at the moment..." Castiel was cut off when Dean noticed Zordon.

"Holy crap what's with the giant floating head?" He asked.

"Dean," the floating head said. "Glad you made it out alive, welcome to the command center, my name is Zordon, mentor to the power rangers."

"The power rangers?" Dean asked. He wondered if that spell on him was causing him to hallucinate or if he had been spat out into some kind of an alternate reality. "Wait how long have I been asleep and where's Sam?" Instantly, Sam arrived back in the command center nearly passing out if he hadn't grabbed hold of the counter. Dean still had questions about what was going on, but he decided not to ask at the moment. "Sam are you okay?" He got up to make sure but Sam didn't answer; he just stared at Dean in shock. "Sam?" He asked. Sam just hugged him, he could handle the end of the world but he couldn't handle Dean being in a coma.

"Sorry, it's just really good to see you." Sam finally answered.

Meanwhile, back at the wall, Rita's henchmen were making sure that they did the right strokes and movements that Dean had said. As they were going through and doing it Goldar was beginning to grow impatient, annoyed that Baboo and Squat didn't know what they were doing.

"You idiots," Goldar said. "You better know what you're doing! Or I'll.." he started.

"Oh cool your golden wings," Squat said. "We're working on it!"

"No!" yelled Baboo. "You better do this right." Almost on cue, explosions happened around them like they were targeted. Stumbling away from the small bowl in the center, appearing before them were the rangers dressed in their multicolored clothing. "How did they find us?"

"You are terrible at covering your tracks." Kimberly responded.

"Give it up Goldar! We are not going to let you use that gate!" Jason exclaimed.

"Oh well, time to go!" Squat and Baboo said together and quickly dispersed as fast as they possibly could leaving Goldar alone to fight the rangers. Goldar attacked first swinging his sword and knocking the rangers back but the rangers fought harder, even though they were working together, it was hard since they were exhausted from their own battle against the alter egos. It made things all the much harder for them, when they thought they were going to lose, the Maroon ranger appeared out of nowhere and struck Goldar in the chest making smoke protrude from Goldar's wounds.

"Dean?" Trini said.

"It seems to have worked," Billy said. "Destroying the alter ego was the only way to bring him back."

"Thanks for your help guys, I believe if we work together we can take Goldar down." Dean said.

"You all will never defeat me!" Goldar exclaimed. He raised his sword in the air and shot fireballs from his eyes; the attack would have struck the rangers if they hadn't jumped to get out of the way. The rangers summoned their weapons but Goldar wasn't willing to lose that easily so he flew up in the air using his wings and shot more fireballs from his eyes. "Tremble before me power rangers and I might just spare you."

"He can't be too smart if he works for that cranky witch," Dean responded. "Let's take him out."

"Right." The rangers responded. Goldar laughed at them and told them to do their worst, but he would soon eat his words as each ranger attacked him individually forcing him back to the ground. And as he stood up ready to use his sword to burn them alive the rangers began combining their weapons. Dean even used his own weapon to damage Goldar's wings so that he couldn't fly away.

"Power axe!" Zach exclaimed.

"Power bow!" Kimberly yelled.

"Power daggers!" Trini shouted.

"Power lance!" Billy called out.

"Power sword!" Jason exclaimed. Dean added his own weapon to the power blaster to give it an extra boost, Goldar held up his sword hoping it would lessen the attack but the power blaster destroyed his sword. Out of humiliation, Goldar teleported himself away leaving all of the items behind to summon Anna.

"Yeah that's right you better run." Dean commented.

"Goldar!" Rita exclaimed at the top of her lungs. She had been angry enough when she saw her second evil ranger get destroyed, and not by the rangers but the real Sam. Now her anger was off the charts because Goldar had failed one simple task and left all the items behind, pushing her plan further down the drain. "Get your winged butt in here!"

"Oh boy, he's going to get it." Baboo and Squat said to each other while Goldar walked in looking terrified.

"My queen please let me explain..." Goldar began but was cut off by Rita blasting him with her staff.

"Quiet you give me such a headache!" Rita yelled. "No, because of your carelessness I can't become the Empress of the universe!"
