the night out

"hey, you two lovebirds~!" hu tao ran up to you and xiao who were just about to leave for the day.

"hey hu! what's up?" you smiled at her cheeky self.

"i've got the best idea! let's just run out and do stuff tonight!" she giggled. 

"what do you mean?" xiao chimed in.

"ooh! okay, so, during class, i was looking through pinterest... y/n, do you know the like... AESTHETIC friends hanging out at night and getting mcdonalds at like... the middle of the morning!" 

we stopped walking to let the car pass by.

"ah, i see what you mean. i'm fine with it, if xiao is too, we can go!" xiao nods. "mhm."

"aiyaya! this is just perfect! okay you two, i'll see you later~!" hu tao runs off and almost gets hit by a car, which was very amusing to xiao. 

you heard a high pitched squeal in the distance. "hey, sir! not very fucking kind of you to almost hit me!!"

you couldn't help but snort at hu tao's humor. she's something else.

it was now currently almost midnight, you and xiao had spent the majority of your hours cuddling and xiao was about to fall asleep.

"mmhmmmmmm.. i'm comfy here with you, y/n..." xiao grumbled.

you kissed his forehead. "i know sleeping beauty, but we have to get up. trust me, tomorrow you can sleep in, okay?" 

he nodded cutely and slowly got up, stretching like a cute fuzzy cat.

you couldn't help but kiss him, he was being so adorable right now.

"y/n~" xiao pouted at your kisses and you laughed. "are you mad because you're not initiating them?~" you patted his fluffy hair. "it's okay hun. i don't mind, hehe."

suddenly you both heard a very happy knock on your door. 

"coming, hu!" you yelled. 

xiao quickly got changed into comfier, more presentable looking clothes. you were already dressed in something that could keep you warm.

you opened the door to reveal a very hyper hu tao. 

"good... almost morning, you two! hope i didn't disturb you, hehe~" hu tao grinned.

"not at all, we're just about ready." you reassured and xiao was behind you, nodding.

"okay~ let's go!! i'll drive, don't worry. xiao looks sleepy~" she giggled.

hu tao was playing songs off of her phone, bluetooth connected. she started singing loudly and off-key, but c'mon! it's hu tao.

you giggled and sang along to the songs that you did know. xiao occasionally mumbled some lyrics to some edgy songs that would play.

you let down the window to feel the cool breeze of the night. it reminded you of xiao, actually. cold but relaxing. peaceful. it let you actually breathe.

you felt a warm hand embrace yours and you giggled. 

"are you cold, xiao?" you giggled at his flustered expression and he nodded.
