"___," Law groans as you pin him to the bed. Your ears were layed back in a stubborn manner and your tail lashed unhappily. Law frowns up at you, he knew you were mad about him staying up late last night, again. "I had to, I'm almost finished with the cure," He says. You let out an unhappy huff but let him up, sitting down next to him. Your ears were lowered in concern for your new friend. He sits up and pets your head. "I should be fully cured by tonight, don't worry so much," He tells you. You look into his eyes, he was so strong for a kid your age.
'Well, I'm not much of a kid now..' You muse, looking down at your spots. You look back at him to see him looking at you curiously.
"After I'm cured, will you show me what you look like as a human?" He asks. You pause thoughtfully but shrug. You weren't sure why but you loved this form, and didn't want to change back. Law frowns at that. "You really like that form huh?" He comments. You give him a slight smile and start to nudge him.
'Don't worry about that right now, go cure yourself!' You were silently telling him.
"Alright, alright," He says, and heads out. You watch after him before making the bed the best you could in your snow leopard form. He has been with you for a few days, and already you felt close to him. He understood you well even if you didn't speak, which made things easy since your parents didn't quite understand, they usually just guessed what your gestures meant.
"___! Come eat breakfast before Law eats it all!" Your mother calls jokingly.
"Or me!" Your father pitches in. You rumble a giggle and hurry out, jumping onto the chair next to Law. You pause seeing a piece of rice on his cheek. You briskly lean over and lick it up. He pauses and rubs his cheek.
"Aw! She gave you a kiss!" Your mom giggles. Your ears lower and you swiftly shake your heads.
"Look Layla, you made him blush," Paul chuckles. You look over to see Law's cheeks tinted with pink as he swiftly finishes his food.
"Thanks for the meal!" He says and hurries out. You let out a slight growl, glowering at your parents who simply chuckle.
"Just imagine how red he would've been if ___ had been in human form," Your father muses, making your mother giggle again. You duck your head and swiftly eat. You often wondered how different things would be if you had met him in the other form.
"I know ___ was blushing when you said that," Your mother comments. Your ears go back and you swiftly look away. They laugh at that.
"Still cute no matter what form you take," Paul comments, patting your head.
"Oh yes, ___, I need you to run some errands for me," Layla speaks up, grabbing your errand bag and helping you step into it. She shows you the list to memorize before you rush off.
You ran through town, collecting ingredients for dinner, the townspeople greeted you warmly. When you first got the power they feared and abused you, but they changed their tune once you saved their children from a wolf pack. You never cared about their opinions, you loved this power the moment you obtained it. You get to your house's kitchen window and let out a meow. Your mom peers out and smiles.
"Thanks ___, Law hasn't come back yet, you should go check on him," She says, taking the bags. You nod and dash for the abandoned barn where Law has been practicing. The door was cracked open so you peer in. Law laying on the ground alarms you and you run over. He looks up at you with a breathless smile when you reach him. His spots were gone.
"I'm cured!" He breathes. Your ears perk and you start to lick his cheeks in a cheerful manner. He gasps and laughs tiredly. "___! Your tongue is scratchy!" He chuckles. You pull back before deciding to nuzzle his face with a purr.
'I'm so happy for you!' You think, practically laying on him. He laughs again, stroking your head.
"Thanks ___," He murmurs. After some time you help him up carefully. Together you both leave the barn, starting for home. You were purring cheerfully all the while, making him chuckle. "You're really happy I'm cured?" He comments. You nod and nuzzle his side. He smirks and pats your head. "Can I see your other form now?" He inquires. You pause and stick your tongue out at him before running ahead. "___! Wait up!" He calls. You crouch, watching him as you ready your haunches. He stops.
"___," He says warily. You purr in amusement before pouncing at him. He narrowly dodges you. "___!" He growls, lunging at you to your surprise. You both go tumbling down hill, you change into your human form mid way, giggling like crazy. You both come to a stop, and you lift yourself up from him, giving the surprised boy a grin before kissing his cheek before jumping off of him and changing back, purring with laughter. He sits up, hands over his cheek with a heavy blush. He looks at you with wide eyes.
"N-No fair! You surprised me! I didn't get a clear look!" He objects. You give him a cat smile, still purring with laughter before running off. "___!" He calls, chasing after you. "Redo!"
