"Look. I'm over it.O-v-e-r. Ok? I'm over it, and I'm over you." Caitlyn muttered, ending the call, going back to her friends inside the house.
"Was that him again?" One of the girls around her asked as if an answer was necessary. "Of course it was." Caitlyn said into the ear of the girl. "He really won't give up." The girl laughed. Caitlyn laughed along with her, ignoring the others around them.
Break Up.
When two people have to let each other go. Dispite the fact that one of them loves the other one truly. The girl or the guy, decides that the two of you are not compatible for each other.
In this case it was Caitlyn who decided she no longer wanted to be in a relationship with the guy, who she'd tried to get the attention of most of her high school life.

"Maybe you should call him, you know explain?" Cassidy said trying to convince Caitlyn to talk to him.
"I honestly don't see any reason to. I don't want to be with him, there is no point in telling him that again." Caitlyn said with a shrug. Her friends had called her heartless a few days before. Although she wasn't heartless, she just didn't want to string someone along knowing that she had no interest in being with him.
"Where has your heart gone Cait!" Her friend huffed. "Out the window, like my relationship." Caitlyn laughed. She'd quickly come to the conclusion, that your 'High School Sweetheart' was never really a sweetheart, and it only ever lasted until the end of High School, give or take a few months after you'd graduated.
"You don't know the details of our relationship anyway." Not that there were many, Caitlyn spend her whole time at school trying to get Aidan's attention, then when she did it wasn't really worth it. They went to school together, Caitlyn lost her virginity to him. (Which wasn't worth it.) She spent more time thinking about the things that annoyed her about him than the things that made her smile when she thought of him. Overall, she found out it he wasn't worth thinking about throughout High School.
Caitlyn liked being without the weight she carried when having Aidan on her back all the time, she enjoyed nothing more than being able to go out with her friends, doing whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted.
"You know you're over some one, when you don't think about who they're with, or worry about what they're doing, and you know what. I'm over it, and I'm over him."
