Two hours later Caitlyn and Cassidy hadn't moved from their seats, only for the toilet and sometimes to grab another drink, the two were in deep conversation with the four lads they'd met a few hours earlier.

"Oh, god Luke, tell them the story behind the lip ring!" Highlighter head/Michael shouted over the music that seemed to be getting louder as the night went on. Caitlyn turned to look at Luke, who's face was flushed and had the piercing between his teeth like he'd done earlier when she first met him. "No." He muttered taking the lip ring back between his teeth again. "C'mon man!" Luke shook his head refusing to let the girls know the story behind the lip ring.

"He thought it would make him look cool." Ashton said with a shrug. "But you know, theres more too it than that." He said with another shrug, going back to his conversation with Cassidy. "It is pretty cool though." She shrugged. "Thank you." Luke said with a triumphant smile on his face. "Told you it was cool Calum!" Luke said elbowing his friend in the side.

"You wanna know why nobody likes to kiss Luke?" Michael whispered to Caitlyn, looking over at Luke and Calum arguing and elbowing each other. Caitlyn hummed in response urging Michael to go on. "Because they're scared his lip ring will cut them, no word of a lie." He said leaning back to his previous sitting position. "Really?" Caitlyn laughed. "Are they dumb?" She placed a hand over her mouth to muffle her laugh.

"I actually can't believe that, oh wow." Caitlyn watched as Luke kept pulling the lip ring between his teeth, as his eyes flickered around the room before settling on her. He smiled slightly, his lip ring popping out from between his teeth. His cheeks went slightly red as she smiled back, sticking her tongue out slightly at him.

"Come on then. Tell us about this ex boyfriend of yours." Calum said. "Theres not very much to tell." She answered, taking her eyes off of Luke. There actually wasn't much to tell, Aidan wasn't that interesting. Neither was their relationship. "I spent all of my time in school trying to get him to notice me, and when he finally did, it wasn't really worth it, i expected him us to be happy and for me to be happy with him. But i wasn't." She shrugged, once again grabbing her glass and putting the straw between her lips.

"If I say so myself, you look pretty well for someone who's just come out of relationship." Michael said, trying to make her feel better, but there was no point since she didn't need cheering up. Putting her glass on the table she stood up quickly. "Like i said, it wasn't really much of a relationship. Now, who wants to dance?"

Just over half an hour later, after much convincing and pleading, she'd gotten Luke to dance with her and they ended up seated at the bar where Caitlyn was sat hours ago watching her friend talk to the boys. "How come you were sat over here when Cassidy came to talk to us?" He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck, giving it a slight rub afterwards. "She's not the most confident around guys, so you know being the best friend with the cute shoes, i thought i'd give her a little pep talk and push her in your direction." Caitlyn shrugged swinging her legs back and fourth while she sat on the bar stool.

"How old are you? You know, your friend said something about a high school boyfriend to us earlier.." The awkwardness had creeped away slightly as the two sat together making little jokes about anything and everything. "17, 18 in a few months, you?" She asked with a small nod. "18." He said back pretty quickly.

"I have a question for you," Caitlyn said, over the loud music filling their ears. "Is it true that people are afraid to kiss you because they think your lip ring will cut them?" Caitlyn dipped her head to one side, actually wanting a serious answer from him. "Did Michael tell you that?" He asked, laughing lightly. "Yeah why?" Her eye brows knitted together in a form of confusion. "He's messing with you, he says it to everyone when we first meet them." Luke said with a huff.

"Caitlyn!" Cassidy ran towards her friend, pushing past people and muttering sorry each time. "Its nearly 12:30! My mum is going to kill me! We really need to go!" Cassidy whined at Caitlyn as the other 3 boys made their way across. "Look guys it was lovely meeting you and all, but we need to go before my mother starts to call me." Cassidy grabbed Caitlyn by the arm and yanked her off the bar stool. "Bye lip ring." She said with a wave as they began to leave. "Bye super cute shoes."
