Can you believe today had the audacity to be Monday?

We nuh really have much fi do today still due to graduation happening on thursday.
We're all supposed to be at school at 2pm today to practice for the festivities that will be taking place.
Me nah do much still eno...doh have the energy at all.
Most of the dancing will be done by the grade 11 students because after all this is our second graduation in highschool.
The last one was just two years ago and it come like a yesterday. Bwoy the time a move fast...the hair dem pon mi front soon tun grey.
Hearing my phone ringing I pick it up from beside me, well I thought it was beside me because me end up affi dig down inna the side a the settee fi it.
I look at the screen and realize it's micah.
"Thank you for calling customer care, how may I assist you today?" The line was quiet for a second as if he was checking if he had the right number.
"Jah know b, mi almost think a wrong number mi call cause mi a seh a weh the bloodclaat dis?"

"Wah time u a ready fi go school? Wah pick yuh up" I perked up at this because this mean mi nah fi pay no taxi fare and also because mi wah see the teacher nice son again of course.
"I'll be ready about 1 or so? You?" I had planned to meet the girls in linstead and we do the usual but I'm sure they won't mind the little change of plans.

I could hear him shuffling around something in the background as if he was getting ready to hang up.

I immediately went to the group chat to let the girls know that I'll be going with him and of course dem start act up and dramatize out the thing.
