NO ONE'S POV
The pair sat in silence, side by side in Mile's bed. None of them had the courage to open their mouths, let alone muster it. Apo twiddled with his thumbs, furtively glacing at Mile, who had his back turned to him.
Another hour had passed with them still in bed as the sun began to peek over the horizon. However, there was no light coming through the drapes. Apo had dozed off earlier, but it had been brief. He couldn't tell if Mile slept because he couldn't see him clearly.
It's just his broad back facing him.
Millions of thoughts rushed through his mind as if endlessly during the hours he sat. Mile was the one who threw him in bed and ravaged him like a wild beast last night, and to tell you the truth, Apo had the best sex he's ever had.
Yes, they had sex. They had finally unleashed the desire that had been gnawing inside of them. Apo, however, felt anxious over the harsh thought of Mile ignoring him the next day, as if nothing happened at all. And they're back to being mere neighbours.
Fear and doubt got the best of him as he laid his head on the white pillow and skidded closer to Mile, his chest almost pressing against the other's back.
"Don't hate me, P'mile..." He whispered, voice tinged with sadness. When earlier, he just had the best time of his life which no one could ever replace that moment.
His middle finger was tracing a pattern on Mile's smooth back. Shortly after, Mile shifted on the bed and stirred around, finally facing Apo.
Mile's eyes were wide open, looking directly at apo. He had his hands under his cheek to pillow on it. And it also looked like he hadn't been sleeping the whole time. He was just as bothered as Apo.
"You know... What happened last night was..." Mile said, trailing off which greatly scared Apo. What was he going to say? That it was shitty?
Or did he regret it? Was it bad? Apo was muscled enough as he spent 5 years of his life in the gym. Nonetheless, he felt anxious in his body. Did Mile hate his body?
Apo mentally prayed as he intensely waited for Mile to finish what he was going to say. "Please say it was amazing, please say it." Apo screamed in his head.
"I- I don't know... I can't believe I did that or we did that thing."
"What do you mean you don't know? I told you that none of what happened between us were your fault. I pushed you into it, just convince yourself so you don't have to feel... shitty about it." He felt a sharp blade pierced into his heart as he said that.
Mile fell silent, as if deep in thought. And apo's anxiety level began to skyrocket. "Did you... regret it?" He asked slowly.
"I made you certain, weren't you? Were you not aware of what happened and you just accepted having sex with me because you felt like it? And now you're regretting that we had sex?" He added, that was rapid and he practically ran out of breath. It was his turn to get upset about the whole situation.
Mile groaned lowly and sat up, rubbing his face with his hands. "Did I say something like that? I didn't, right? So, quit rambling! I just couldn't believe that I had sex with a guy because I've never done that before. And the fact that I was kind of pro with it... I can't even recognize myself right now." He didn't even stutter.
Everything had finally spilled out of Mile's mind, including his feelings about the whole situation. Knowing that he might not have regretted it made Apo smile a little. And somehow relieved.
"So you don't regret it?" Apo asked reluctantly, gradually sitting up. He trailed his gaze down and saw Mile's thighs peeking out from the blankets. If only he hadn't had his knees up. He would've seen the thing that lies between his legs as they were both still naked and their clothes are scattered all over the floor.
A brief silence filled the air. "Guess you could say that... I was aware of what I was doing to you." Mile shrugged, his arms propped on his knees.
The scene of them kissing, ripping each other's clothes, biting, and creating marks on their bodies kept replaying in Mile's head. And the sounds of their indulged noises lingered in his ears. It wasn't so bad as what he used to think it would be when he was imagining making out with a man. He used to be repulsed by the thought of it. But having that experience was indeed the best sex he's ever had throughout the entire 30 years of his life.
Not even with his ex-girlfriend, for whom he had so much affection. but ended up dumped him as if everything they'd shared was meaningless and trash type of memories. The pain still clung onto his heart like a leech. But it was faint.
"I'm glad..." Apo chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his nape. He felt like he could finally sleep peacefully.
The silence took only a few seconds before Apo decided to speak. "So, if you've never fucked a man before, do you consider me your first?"
"With a man, yes." Apo felt honored to hear that. He wanted to throw a party, or marry the man already.
Mile seemed nonchalant about it, when a minute or less ago he was just panicking, soon enough. He slid beneath the covers and pulled it up to his shoulders, partially taking Apo's away as they shared the blanket. exposing his lower half. Thankfully, Mile had his back turned and didn't notice.
Though Apo was secretly hoping for it.
"P'mile, can I stay here for only a day?" Apo scooted over and tipped his head down to whisper in the bigger man's ear, which annoyed him.
"Your house is literally just a few blocks away from mine." Mile sighed and turned his head away from apo.
"I don't think I can leave you after what just happened. Can I at lease spend a day with you? Just the two of us?"
He did not receive a response. He wasn't sure if it was a refusal or bafflement, but Mile's shoulders were slightly shaking, as if he was thinking about it.
..."Please?" Apo gave his softest tone he'd ever given to someone... That was solely for Mile. Leaning down further, he used his forearms to support his upper body weight against the mattress. Mile was sure as hell that he could feel Apo's warm breath on the side of his face.
which caused him to lightly flinch as his head sank onto the pillow. His voice sounded irresistible, and surprisingly, either alluring or convincing. He didn't know if it had become a foreign feeling inside his chest since the last person who had done that to him was his ex-girlfriend 3 years ago and he'd been single after her.
He turned his head around and realized that Apo's face was only an inch away from his. His face flushed, but he didn't move. Mile brought his hand up to the other man's face. stroking his cheekbone with the pad of his thumb.
"Okay..."
Sometimes giving in isn't such a bad thing. He's been yearning for someone to show him affection. Mile had come to terms with the fact that it was what he truly desired deep down.
