Chapter 8

"Good morning, Jen" Jisoo greeted as soon as she entered the kitchen and saw Jennie making breakfast.

"Goodmorning" Jennie greeted back without looking at her.

"Hmm. That smells so good." Jisoo said before sitting.

Jennie just hummed in response.

Jisoo rested her chin on her hand while watching Jennie cooking and unconsciously staring at Jennie.

For some reason, Jennie felt, that Jisoo was staring at her.
"Stop staring"

"I'm not staring, I am watching you cooking" Jisoo denied.

Jennie shrugged. "Whatever. Breakfast is ready."

"Yey!"

"So what's your plan for today? I am off duty today. Thanks to you boss" Jisoo grinned at Jennie.

They are currently having their breakfast.

"You deserve a rest, Jisoo. You are working so hard. Are you really that like before?" Jennie asked curiously

Jisoo chuckled and shook her head.
"No, I'm not. I'm kinda lazy actually, that's why I always get fired."

Jennie raised her eyebrows.
"Really? Then what changed now?"

Jisoo smiled. "I don't know. Maybe I'm inspired."

"Inspired? By what?"

"It's not what. It's who"

"Then who?"

There was a long pause before Jisoo grinned teasingly. "Secret"

Jennie groaned before throwing a crumpled tissue to Jisoo who laughed at her. "You suck"

Jennie actually felt kinda disappointed, she doesn't know why but she expected that Jisoo will say her name.

Then she thought about it, what if it's her friend?

Soojin.

They also became so close these past few days but she's sure that she and Jisoo are more close to each other.

But she still can't stop thinking about it because she knows that Soojin genuinely likes Jisoo. She's not playing around this time.

She doesn't even know why she is thinking about that. Jisoo and she are just friends and have no romantic feelings for each other.

Right?

Jennie and Jisoo are now in the living room watching tv.

Jisoo yawned and Jennie turned to look at her. "Are you sleepy?"

Jisoo looked at her as well and shook her head. "No. I'm bored. Can we go somewhere?"

"Jisoo, I didn't go to the restaurant because need a rest too."

Jisoo pouted.

Jennie just raised her eyebrows at Jisoo.

And Jisoo pouted more with pleading eyes, she said. "Please"

These past few days, Jennie just discovered that it became one of her weaknesses.

Jennie let out a sigh. "Fine. Go change now."

Jisoo's pout turned into a wide smile in just a second after hearing Jennie.
"Yey! Okay, I'll go change now." She stood up from the couch and went to her room."

One of the guest rooms became Jisoo's room on the day Jennie agreed for letting her stay in her condo unit.

Jennie smiled watching Jisoo looking so excited. "Such a kid." She stood up as well before heading to her bedroom.
