"Who was that?" Jisoo asked as soon they entered Jennie's bedroom.

Jennie went straight to her closet.
"One of my friends" she replied without looking at her.

"Is she living with you?" Jisoo asked curiously.

Jennie grabbed pajamas for the both of them and she threw at her one Jisoo will use for the night.

Jisoo mumbled "thank you" and still waiting for Jennie to answer her question.

"To answer your question....No, she's not. I'm the only one living here. And she's not the only one who is in here tonight. My other friends are in the guest rooms, they usually have sleepovers in my condo"

"Really? That's kinda fun. I never experienced that" Jisoo said sadly before sitting on the bed.

Jennie looked at her and raised her eyebrows. "You didn't experience sleeping at your friend's house?"

Jisoo shook her head. "I...I don't have... friends." said before bowing her head and just staring at the floor.

Jennie frowned before she started walking towards Jisoo, she sat beside her giving enough space between them. "What do you mean, you don't have friends?"

"I don't have any friends. Maybe acquaintance but friends? I don't have that" Jisoo sighed and looked up but still avoided Jennie's gaze.

Jennie felt bad for her. Having friends is one of the best things you could have in your life. She's so lucky that she has her friends.

"Hey" Jennie called softly and placed her hand on Jisoo's thigh.

It made Jisoo startle so Jennie pulled away her hand quickly.

"I'm... I'm sorry"

Jisoo finally looked at her
"It's okay, I was...I was just surprised with the contact" she chuckled awkwardly.

Jennie let out a small smile.
"I can be your friend."

Jisoo's eyes widened and can't help but smile. "Really?"

Jennie chuckled because she can see that Jisoo suddenly looks excited.
"Yeah. Even though you'll leave tomorrow, we can still be friends if you want to."

Then Jisoo's expression changed suddenly after hearing what Jennie just said.

"Uhmm...About that...can...can I stay here for a while?" Jisoo asked nervously.

Jennie frowned. "What? Why? Don't you have your own home? What about your family?"

Jisoo shook her head and smiled sadly.
"They already died a long time ago"

She didn't mention her brother anymore.

"Oh, I'm so sorry."

"It's alright. So...can I?"

Jennie sighed and looked away.
"I don't know you. I mean, we barely even know each other. We just met earlier in not so good situation. I don't know what your intentions are and ---"

"Hey. I don't have any bad intentions toward you." Jisoo cut her off

Jennie breathed deeply before standing up. "You know what, let's just talk tomorrow. I'm so tired."

"Okay. I can sleep in the living room"

"No. Soojin is sleeping there."

"But your couch is big enough there. We can share."

"No, you will not. I have a couch here inside my room." She pointed to the couch across the room.

Jisoo looked at it and nodded.
