She had just come home and being expelled again wasn't exactly what she was hoping for, 5 years 5 different school. She wanted her mother to be mad at her but of course like always he hadn't, she loved her mother more than anything in the whole world but she did want her to get mad at her sometimes.
She didn't say anything as she entered and just as she was about to go towards her room he stopped her "There you are brain less kid. Got expelled again did you?" He had said she didn't say anything just stood there.
"We'll at least you're pretty, got nice hair too." He said and her grabbed dome of her hair. She took a sharp breath in not saying anything.
He let her hair go and she dashed into her room the way he had looked at her, the way he had said that she was pretty it made her want to stab his eyes out, want to burn him alive.
She took a deep breath and did the first impulsive thing that came into her mind, she took a pare of sissies and started cutting her hair in anger, she didn't want anything that he liked, he touched her hair and said that it was nice, well goodbye long hair.

Numbness was all he felt she was gone. She wasn't coming back. She had been dead for over a week and he still didn't want to believe it. How could he? She was his best friend his first kiss his first love. She was dead. And it was all his fault if only he hadn't gotten distracted, if only he had been smarter, if only, if only, if only.
He let out a cry of pain and anger as he broke down in tears again, his sister sat besides him not saying anything. He knew she blamed herself too. But it wasn't her fault it was his. He was the one who told her to leave, he was the one who told his sister he would come back with her but he hadn't.
She promised she would be back, she promised that she would be fine, where was she now? Gone she was gone.

She cried to sleep that night, in her friends arms. She wanted to remember, she wanted to remember him, every little thing they went through every joke they shared, and tear they shed together, but she couldn't and she hated herself for it. No matter how hard she tried, and it broke her just as much it broke him.
