Once the bus stops at the school, JJ doesn't talk to me or anything. He waits for me to leave the seat and walks off the bus. On the way inside the building I see a girl drop her bags and start fighting. I shrug it off and head to my locker. "Chaos," I mumble. I open my locker and put my things inside of it. I hear a group of kids mumbling about something. I close my locker and walk over to them. I hear a game show of some sort.
"Welcome back to Total Money Makeover! Im your host, Carmen Baswell and today were here with?"
"M-Maria.."
"Alrightt Maria, what is your favorite word?"
"Hi is my favorite word."
"Okaay, so a way you win this game is to think of another word for the word 'Hi.'"
"Ok.."
"There's a another word for "Hi'" and it has 8 letters. What is that word?"
Theres a silence.
"12 seconds left, remember you, the audience and go online and figure out the word."
Out of curiosty me and the others pull out our phones and go onto the website that was potrayed on the screen.
I think.. 8 letter word.
Greeting?
I type that and all of a sudden theres a silence.
"Congratulations to Imani Jordan! You just one $15,000,000!"
I freeze. I can feel glares and stares.
