Tony Stark's POV
I was invited to this military school a few weeks ago, must have been the happiest day of my father's life when he sent me off. He said it'd be good for me.
Right.
Like there's anything that they can teach me that I don't already know.
I walked toward the lab that I was given, being one of the first students invited to the school you get some pretty cool stuff.
I entered the large room and continued working on my latest projects: a robot meant to help people with things such as picking stuff up and such. It was to be called Dumb-E. It's a prototype. I'm only building it because my engineering teacher is making me, but I must say that I do enjoy the new project.
---
Three Weeks LaterI finished the project within the first week and turned it in. For some reason they decided that the prototype was so good that it should be showcased for the military. I'm not entirely sure why, but there's no reason to argue.
The showcase is in a few hours, I'm in a military car and we're listening to "Highway to Hell" by ACDC.
All of the sudden one of the trucks in front of us exploded. I jumped in my seat and my eyes widened. People were yelling and the driver jumped out of the car and was shot immediately. The other two soldiers in the car got out, only to be shot.
I exited the car cautiously and ran to a nearby rock, ducking behind it. I was breathing heavily and I heard something hit the ground beside me. I turned and saw my father's logo printed across the side of a missile "Stark Industries" it read.
"Shit!" I jumped up and stumbled away from it, but not quick enough. It exploded and I fell to the ground. I looked down at my shirt and saw blood leaking across the front of it. I pulled it open to reveal a punctured bullet proof vest.
So this is the end? I asked myself just before my vision went black.
