*a few weeks later*
Jimin was working at the café when his phone started ringing on the counter, so he grabbed it and answered the call. "Hello?" He said as he hadn't checked the caller ID. "Hey, baby. It's your Jungkookie" Jungkook said, smiling like an idiot. "Oh, hey, baby! What's up? Is everything alright?" Jimin asked, wondering why Jungkook was calling. "You work until lunchtime, right?" Kook asked. "Yeah, I do." Jimin said, confused. "Why don't you come to our practice studio after work? You can watch us work. Plus, you haven't heard me sing properly." Jungkook explained, still smiling. "Okay, I'll come!" Jimin agreed, smiling as well. "Okay, baby, see you later then. Bye!" Jungkook said. "Bye bye, baby!" Jimin said and hung up.
*a few hours later*
Jimin had just finished working and left Tae to work the second shift until the evening so he could go see Jungkook, Jin, Yoongi and Hobi. He unlocked his bike that he had parked by the cafe and started biking to Jungkook's practice studio, since Jungkook had texted him the adress earlier.Soon enough, Jimin arrived at the practice studio. He leaned his bike against the wall of the building and then walked in, following the sound of music coming from one of the rooms. He walked in and cleared his throat to make his presence known. "Baby!" Jungkook smiled widely and rushed over to Jimin, immediately pulling him into his arms. Jimin giggled and hugged Jungkook back, kissing him quickly. "Hey, baby." Jin chuckled softly at both of them. "Lovebirds..." Hobi nodded in agreement. "Yes, lovebirds indeed." After sharing a few more kisses, Jungkook returned to his band, but Jimin sat down on a couch a bit away from them. He watched them rehearse and just fool around, giggling and laughing along with them.
As he was sitting there and watching them, he noticed Jungkook's phone going off with multiple messages. He grabbed it and checked who the messages were from. "Uhm, Kook? Who's Eunbin?" Jimin asked. Jungkook turned to look at Jimin, going slightly pale. "Eunbin's a friend of mine." He said, swallowing harshly after. Jimin raised an eyebrow, noticing Jungkook's weird behaviour. "If she's just a friend, why are you behaving like that?" He asked, his tone a little stern. "Eunbin is my friend, Jimin, nothing more." Jungkook said, his tone angry. Jimin was taken aback by Jungkook's sudden anger and the fact that he called him Jimin. He was used to all of the petnames, so this was unusual. So Jimin grabbed his own phone and bag, then walked over to Jungkook and gave him his phone. "If you're gonna be angry with me, then I'm leaving." He said and proceeded to storm towards the door of the studio.
Jungkook ran after him, placing his hand over Jimin's on the handle and preventing him from opening the door. "Baby, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get angry at you. Please stay." He begged Jimin. As much as Jimin wanted to give in and stay, he couldn't. "No, Kook, I'm not staying. I'm sorry." He said, then pushed the door open, causing Jungkook's hand to fall from his hand and the door handle. "Jimin.." Jungkook said, but Jimin cut him off. "No. Bye." Jimin said and left the studio. He then got onto his bike and biked home.
As he was riding his bike, Jimin was deep in through about this whole situation. He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice the intersection in front of him. He drove onto the street he had to drive over on his way home, but he didn't see the car coming his way. He snapped out of his thoughts but it was too late. The car hit Jimin and he went flying off of his bike, falling onto the asphalt not far from his bike. His vision went blurry and soon enough, everything went black.
Meanwhile Jungkook and his band were still practicing when they heard an ambulance rush past the studio, with the sirens on. They collectively decided to go and see what's going on. "Something must have happened at the intersection. It's quite dangerous." Jin said as they put their jackets on. "Let's go see." Jungkook said, then led the way out of the studio.
They noticed that there was a crowd forming by the intersection as they approached it, but nothing could have prepared them for the sight they would see. Jungkook pushed his way to the front of the crowd, Jin, Yoongi and Hobi following him.
A choked gasp escaped Jungkook's mouth when he saw Jimin laying on the asphalt, covered in scratches, bruises and blood. "JIMIN!" He cried out and ran over to Jimin's limp body, falling to his knees next to him. "Jiminie, baby, please wake up. Please don't leave me, I can't live without you!" He begged, hot tears rolling down his cheeks and falling on Jimin's shirt and the asphalt next to him. A few paramedics rushed over to them with a stretcher. "Sir, please step back." One of them said to Jungkook. "O-Okay" Jungkook said and got up, then stepped back slightly. The paramedics lifted Jimin and laid him down onto the stretcher. "Sir, are you his relative?" The same paramedic asked Jungkook. "I-I'm his boyfriend." He said, still crying. "Come with us then." The paramedic said and led Jungkook to the ambulance. Jungkook got in after they loaded Jimin in, then they closed the back doors of the ambulance and drove to the hospital. Jungkook texted their groupchat and told them to meet him at the hospital. He then took Jimin's hand in his and kissed it gently. "Please don't leave me, Jiminssi..."
