At the car, they're heading to Nadiya's house to drop Khadijah and then Zaliha whose house isn't far from Nadiya's. The car is filled with awful silence, Umar driving while Abubakr next to him, the three ladies at the back seat.Every now and then, Abubakr keeps stealing glances at an oblivious Zaliha through the side mirror since she's at the owners seat. I can't seem to take my eyes off you Zaliha, Astaghfirullah! Look what you've turned me into. He could remember exactly how he starts falling for Zaliha. It started from the first day he tutored them when she was in level one.
With the whole kidnapping issue, he can't bear to see her in tears. It breaks his heart into pieces and that is not what he likes, at all. He feels sorry for her because he can understand her state as they're very close to Nadiya, just like he is with Umar. Now it makes him to put himself in her shoes thinking that it's just like him loosing his friend. That wouldn't be great, in-fact he wouldn't be able to take it too. He prays she will be back and soon though.
His feelings for her, well he didn't let her know, but he figured she feels the same about him. That is quite enough for him! It has boosted his love for her even more. But when the right time comes, he knows wholly how to go about it.
While Umar is driving, his mind is completely not composed. He's only thinking about one person and wonder how she's doing; his Nadiya. Every time he thinks about her, he feels like shedding a tear. I will do all it takes to bring you back safe, I promise while I'm alive.
Khadijah is sniffing every now and then while resting her head on the back seat. She's in deep thought. She is thinking about her best cousin who she wonders if she's doing well or whether she has eaten or not. Also, she's worried as to why Nadiya told her to leave that same day she got kidnapped. Does she perhaps know them? Nadiya whatever made you feel I should leave when the kidnappers were following us is something known by only you, but whatever it is, I've left it for me to find out soon. All I care about now is for you to come back to us soon. I just hope that you're in good condition and safe wherever you're.
At the centre of the back seat is Hikmah, who maintains a neutral sight. Her eyes is filled with nothing but determination. Off course she wants Nadiya to be back too as she's the one assuring her friends. She could be more eager for Nadiya to be back than the rest, because of what she's trying to achieve. For the sake of her brother's happiness. She hates to see him in a depressed mood. He can be reserved, but he's more or less jovial sometimes. She likes him either ways though. You're such sweet and a good person Nadiya, you don't deserve what you're facing! I pray you come back soon so my brother and all of us will be fine and happy again. And I can't wait to have you as a sister inlaw In Sha Allah!
Zaliha couldn't contain her tears all this while. Even the people in the car are hearing her sniffs. They couldn't say anything to her at the moment, because they feel the same. You can't control someone in a miserable mood no matter what you do. It's best if you let him pour his heart out or rather, let all his tears out. Umar passed her a bottle of water, while Abubakr handed her his handkerchief. Hikmah who is next to her, gives her a side hug.
Nadiya my best friend, I'm in a miserable state without you, it's sickening. I miss you so much. Every moment without you is terrible. I can't wait for you to be back. I've a lot to tell you. Even Umar is worried sick about you. I knew he has feelings for you from the very beginning. Please Ya Allah! Come back to us Nady.
Finally, they've reached Khadijah's house and she comes down from the car after getting a hug from Hikmah. Zaliha isn't in a good state to give a hug, she only nods at her.
