Unstoppable (Sophie)

"Shut up, " Sophie said half crying. "I can't believe you would do this!! "

Sophie raised her hand when Ro stepped in and grabbed it.

"Hey , Blondie, I think you should head back to Havenfield and get some rest, " Ro said, which was sorta weird because she wasn't usually this... soft? Is that the right word?

"Fine, " Sophie grumbled ripping her hand away from Ro's grip.

She stormed off with Ro following close behind.

Ro looked concerned but didn't say anything.

After they leaped to Havenfield Edaline and Grady came rushing outside.

"Did you find anything? " Edaline asked hugging Sophie.

"Yes... "

"What? "

"I found out Mr. Forkle was the cause of Keefe's runaway, " she walked past them into the house and in her room without another word.

Sophie sat on her bed holding a picture of all of them in front of Calla's tree that Keefe painted for her. She lingered her hand over to his face while tears streamed down her cheeks.

Why? Why would he leave... Now that he's gone I don't know what to do anymore...

Sophie jumped at the sound of her door opening and looked up to see Biana and Dex standing there.

"Oh, what are you guys doing here? " Sophie asked quickly wiping away her tears.

"We heard about what Mr. Forkle did.. " Biana replied quietly. She walked over to Sophie and gave her a small hug Dex following behind.

"Are you ok? " Dex asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. "

"You don't look li-"

SOPHIE!

Sophie jumped at hearing the crisp accent yelling in her head.

What do you want.

I heard about what happened you ok?

Yeah I'm fine.

You don't sound like it.

Sophie scoffed at that remark.

Do you want me to come over?

No, I'm fine Biana and Dex are with me.

I can.

No.

Why not.

Just... Don't.

Sophie shut her mind blocking Fitz. She felt bad but wasn't in the mood to be talking to him at the moment.

Biana raised her eyebrow.

"It was just Fitz. "

"Him again? " Dex said.

"Yeah it's no big deal though"

"Ok well I guess we should go you get some rest, " Biana said hugging Sophie before leaving the room.

"Yeah... "

Sophie stared back at Keefe's paintings.

She wasn't going to let Mr. Forkle stop her from getting Keefe's back.

Sophie quickly grabbed her bag and stuffed some snacks , a few dozen throwing stars, a pair of clothes, an imparter and a melder just in case. She then tossed on some of her old human clothes which were a bit tighter now but would have to do.

All she needed to do now was get a leaping crystal to the Forbidden Cities.

She snuck into Grady's office later that night and took his leaping crystal than walked out the door.

She held up the crystal and lept away.
