Hi guys tysm for reading my last few chapters even though the first few weren't so good. In this chapter I'll be doing both Sophie's and Keefe's povs since they are both in the Forbidden cities. It might get a bit mushy but what else would you expect from a SoKeefe story? I hope you'll enjoy it!

Sophie stepped into San Diego after her leap with a whole bunch of emotions even she couldn't comprehend. She walked down the familiar street towards her old house.
Before opening the door she thought to herself, ok Sophie calm down you don't want to overwhelm Keefe again. Just calm-
Suddenly the door swang open.

Keefe jumped at the sound of footsteps at the door. Was it Gethen again? Maybe he should leap out. That's when he caught a small glimpse of blonde hair outside the window.
Sophie? He thought stumbling back a step. How did she find me why is she here? Wait.. Why can't I feel her emotions...
He took a cautious step to the door and swung it open.
"KEEFE! " Sophie yelled jumping on him crying. "I missed you! "

Keefe hugged her back. "I.. Missed you too Foster. "
They stood there hugging for a while before Keefe brought her in and closed the front door.
"Why are you here? " Keefe asked as Sophie sat down on a crate.
"I came here to look for you Keefe... "
"But Im-"
"No Keefe your not dangerous. I know what it's like having several abilities... It just takes getting used to that's all. And hey! Your talking!! "
Keefe quickly covered his mouth.
"It's ok , " Sophie said quietly standing up and taking his hand off his mouth. "You can talk, "
"But I-"

Keefe's heart started thuddding faster as Sophie's hand brushed past his lips.
"It's ok, " she said. "You can talk. "
"But I- you. "
"I love you Keefe. " Sophie wrapped her arms around him and hugged him.
"I-" Keefe was lost of words as he stood there frozen and redder than a strawberry.
Keefe kept trying to get some words out of his mouth but couldn't.
Did Foster just say that she... Loved me?
Keefe finally hugged her back as a small tear fell off his eyes.
Nope no crying Keefe your a man do not cry especially in front of Sophie.
Sophie stepped back repeating again, "I love you ,Keefe. I don't know what I would do without you"
"I love you too Foster"
He stepped forward-
Okkk I know a cliffy again. Hey what if I don't update for a week? 😈 That would be fun. Or I can update tomorrow again up to you guys. I hope y'all enjoyed it🤗!!
