In the horror movie fashion, the diclounis queen is walking through the halls of the mall in her gloom, unhappy expression as she looks at the doors of which room sigil may be hiding, when she looks at the other door, her vectors smash the door and there's no one in here, she said in the eerie tone: "you can run, but you cannot hide, I will find you, then I will tear you apart, limb by limb." 

 She then proceeds to walk through the halls, passing by the closet door, in the closet room where sigil is hiding, sigil, on the other hand, is figuring out what to do in this dangerous situation, he uses his device to pinpoint the exit spot, and located in the form of the main entrance, the problem is Lucy, he'll need a diversion, a simulation of the SAT, making solid light constructs to be more convincing as he sends to distract Lucy, the artificial soldiers are firing the barrage of gunfire to Lucy but as expected, no effect on her thanks to her vectors blocking it, this also provides sigil to make a great escape while she's occupied at the moment.

"sigil arrives to tell the police to stand down and fall back, one of the police officers then suggested otherwise, firing a teaser gun at her, which works, for now, sigil tries to warn the KPD to fall back for this is beyond their expertise, but one of the officers doesn't listen and other officer said that they should listen for what he has to say, as he's was about to explain. A head is thrown to their position, sigil is horrified and she sees Lucy coming out of the shadows with the headless body of the policeman, sigil tells them to fall back but one of them is clouded by vengeance, proceeds to shoot gunfire at her, ignoring sigils warnings. 

As usually, the bullets meant nothing to Lucy for her vectors protect her, one of the officers tries to throw a grenade at her but the paragon enforcer catches it and then tosses it into the sky as it explodes, the officer is angry that the weapon is wasted while sigil explains that their safety and well-being is the primary concern but the other said the safety of the people comes first until, the officer (unknown to them is a bulwark in disguise) come out of nowhere said that they should retreat and leave the fight to sigil. Alas, one of the officers is frustrated by the fact that some armored-clad person is doing their work instead of them, sigil tells the other officer to take the men back while he covers their escape, and he'll hold off this apocalyptic bright of nature.
