(3rd Person)
Kenjiro glanced at the door in panic. Semi Eita? He'll question why the 'lost' kid from the alleyways was with one of the most powerful gangs in the country.
Aya spared him a look, a shadow of her old glare. She hasn't been the same person since that black van showed up. "They know it's you." They probably followed him here.
Semi stepped into the room, picking a body up effortlessly. Kenjiro was not staring.
The light caught on his hair, making the ombre shade shine, even more striking than before. He looked up, and caught Kenjiro's gaze in his own.
"Ah, hello." He grinned. "Mr I'm-lost."
Vio couldn't help but snicker, sibling rivalry taking over. "I'm lost? Really?" Kenjiro launched a half-serious kick towards her.
Koshi sent them a warning look, and the mood shifted. Remember who we're dealing with.
Akaashi shifted his shoulders. Beside him, Sakusa had his hands firmly in his pockets. Those two weren't warming up to Flames anytime soon. (pun intended)
Suna idly kicked at one of the unconscious bodies --- at least, Kenjiro hoped they were unconscious --- and yawned, the very definition of -I-don't-give-a-fuck. "So who's going first? rock paper scissors?"
"We'll go first." Daichi said, eyes on Koshi. "To show our goodwill."
Suga twirled the keys around his fingers, the metallic rings the only sound in the otherwise silent room. "Let's go."
Aya was already out the door before the 'go'. Akaashi wasn't far behind.
Kenjiro shoved Vio out first, which was unnecessary as she was already sprinting. It took a few seconds for them to get the the car, another few seconds to drop the guard at the door, and two more for Koshi to arrive and unlock the car.
A brief scuffle occurred, with the Ice shoving the policemen out of the car and the Flames taking care of them. Koshi shrugged off Aya's bag, which had somehow got onto his shoulders, and rummaged around for a first-aid kit.
He furrowed his brows at the files. Meh. No time to ask. He lifted out a few rolls of bandages and alcohol pads and went to check on Kawa.
Kawa was fine. He's got a cut on the side of his face ('oh no! my handsome face is deformed!') and a few nasty bruises, but he'll be okay in no time. Aya dusted off her hands with satisfaction that soon turned into panic. "Where's my bag?"
"Here, your royal highness." Koshi handed it over, still half open, then gave the bandages to Vio.
Behind them, Akaashi was on the lookout. "We're being watched."
"Mask up." Koshi replied. "Matthew Carter?"
"And Ashton and Ralia Carter." He said, slightly muffled through the light blue fabric. "And bodyguards. Things don't look too good."
"Aw, don't worry your pretty little head about it." Bokuto said, eavesdropping. "We'll get rid of them. Now for your side of the bargain"
Akaashi adjusted his mask.
"Right." Koshi sighed, and ignored a very confused Kawa ('why are the Flames here?'). "Kenma, where's your mask?"
"I don't have it." He said, shrugging.
"I brought extras." Aya pulled one out. "But didn't you have it on before?"
Kenma took the mask without a word.
Ok then.
"You guys ready?" Daichi's voice slipped through the door. "Let's get going."
-----------------------------
"So where are they?" Aya looked around, confused. "I thought they would be here."
Akaashi narrowed his eyes. "They were here the last time I checked." He looked on guard --- too on guard. Actually, all of them did. Sakusa hasn't spoken a word since the arrival of the Flames.
Yeah, ok. Definitely something to do with the constant nuisance of Atsumu Miya. Talking about the Miyas, where's the other one?
Suna clicked a few more buttons and they were in. In the treasury, likely the most guarded place of the whole building, and that's saying a lot.
There were a few piles of cash in the corners, but nothing too worthwhile. However, the Flames' attention were on the files. Tall, almost as tall as a person, the stacks of brown envelopes were up against the walls, taking up almost all the space in the small, square room.
"Atsumu." Daichi said. The boy nodded and started sorting through them, very quickly too. Within minutes he had gotten through all of them, with 3 that he gave to Daichi, who put them in his bag.
"Thanks for your help." He said, offering his hand to Koshi.
"And thank you for yours." Koshi replied, shaking it.
Hey, they weren't best friend material, but that was at least something. They bid their farewells (with atsumu yelling 'bye omi-kun!') and went on their ways, each with something new in their minds.
Or maybe someONE new in their minds.
