I awoke rubbing my eyes sheepishly in disbelief at what I saw, bars, not those of a typical prison cell but of a crib? A unicorn mobile swaying ever so slightly above my head which I rubbed in confusion after seeing the word princess carved into the headboard, this discovery forcing a blush out of me. It only deepened upon realizing there was a diaper taped snugly around my waist, I tried to remove the embarrassing infantile garment only to find it was enchanted to prevent just that as indicated by the lock symbols appearing on the landing strip after attempting to do so. Humiliated even further after realizing it was rather full, soaked too.

Nervously I suckled the pacifier that somehow escaped my notice until now, the soothing effect almost immediate as I contemplated how to regain my freedom. Gripping the vibrant pink bars I tried to stand up only to fall back down onto my thickly padded bottom, this sudden shift in weight causing the contents to squish loudly. Weird, I didn't feel that weak but my body was having trouble listening to me for some reason. On the verge on outright panicking I quickly grabbed the plush bunny next to my pillow and hugged it closely to my chest, oddly I found this toy rather comforting in these circumstances. Then, out of curiosity I poked at my padding and found amusement in the funny sounds it emitted as a result, never mind the fact that the once pristine white was now discolored by a massive load.

Anxiously I paced the crib which thankfully was very spacious considering I was a teenager, after a while I grew bored and eventually took notice of my tail whose wagging caused unnecessary crinkling. Under normal circumstances I would question how I managed to grow one overnight but it was no stranger than the fact I now had paws and a snout too, luckily there was a safety mirror hanging from the railing which allowed me to confirm my suspicions. In it I saw a baby fox staring back in blatant confusion at his current predicament, sighing as there was no sense in denying it any further. I placed a paw on the reflection in the hopes this was all just some vivid hallucination brought on by a hangover, lisping around my babyish gag as I tried to make light of this unprecedented situation, " Is dis what I weally wanted? "
