After my shower I talked again with Catherine to settle when and where we would meet. She offered to come and pick me up, which I did not object to, since I was not in the mood to walk...

The time had passed and Catherine was about half an hour late. She isn't used to being so, but I didn't think much of it.

All I did was text her: Hey! U coming? Is everything ok?

To which she replied: Yeah. On my way there. I'll explain to you once I arrive. 😂

Hurry. I missed u 🥺

I really did miss her. It hadn't even been five hours since I last saw her but I just can't seem to stay away from this woman.

And as I was lost in my own thoughts I saw a familiar light blue Chevrolet parking right in front of my house.

I took my purse, left my house and jumped right into her front seat.

"Hello there" I pecked her soft lips.

"Hi little one" she returned the kiss.

"What did I say about the little one?" I complained. Of course I wanted her to call me that, but I wasn't going to let her know...

"Yeah, like I'm going to stop..." She teased. While starting the car.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise. You'll see." She smiled at me.

Oh Lord, that smile...

"Mysterious enough?" I teased her.

"Mhm" she mumbled.

"I like that."

We continued our little trip in complete silence for a couple of minutes, untill I decided to break it.

"You never told me why you were late..."

"Oh yeah, I already forgot about that... It's nothing I just overslept a little and the traffic wasn't helping..."

"That's it?! I was expecting something juicy"

"Yeah sorry to break it to you little one"

With that I pinched her arm

"OUCH!" She almost screamed.

"Yeah don't pretend you didn't expect it... You know very well why I did that." I said laughing uncontrollably.

"You little-... I'll get my revenge once we get there." She threatened.

"Yeah. That should be fun"

We continued our ride laughing and talking about random stuff untill we finally arrived. All I could see was trees.

"Are you planning on abducting me, miss Catherine?" I couldn't not tease her...

"Yeah, you got it right... Come here, stupid. I know a place"

And with that she took my hand and we started going somewhere... I had no idea where...

After about five minutes, we arrived to where I supposed she wanted us to.

"Oh my- Catherine that's-"

"Beautiful huh?"

This was out of this world. There was a waterfall and it had created a little lake under it. There were flowers all over the place. Some of them red, others yellow... It was magical. How had she even discovered it?

"Catherine, that's... Magical." I said with my breath taken away, by the beauty displayed in front of me.

"I know, right?" She hugged me from behind. "Come with me. I have something else to show you." She continued

I didn't think twice... I followed her.

She took me under this beautiful tree, where she had laid out a sheet and on top of that was a picnic basket. She had also placed some small candles all around the sheet. Just how you would imagine an ordinary picnic date to be. But it wasn't about the date. It wasn't even about this place. It was all about this moment... Our moment, just me and her.

I didn't think I could fall even more for this woman. But everytime she just seems to prove me wrong.

"When did you prepare all this?" I asked

"Don't ask many questions. Sit. What are you waiting for?"

And with that we sat and slowly started eating.

After about twenty minutes we were done and both laid down, me in her arms.

"Catherine?"

"Mhm?"

"That was wonderful. Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me, Vic. This is just how I had imagined it to be. I love it... I- I love you Victoria."

What? Had she just said what I thought she had? Oh my God. Don't panic, don't panic Victoria. You just have to say it back. It won't be a lie after all...

"I love you too, Catherine." I looked her in the eyes. With that we kissed. This kiss held a million words and feelings... Words that we hadn't told each other and feelings that we felt but didn't have the courage to admit. This was something more than love. I know it might seem too soon but it was... I hugged her tightly and at this moment I felt lost in her arms, yet so protected...

I guess that made out relationship pretty official now...
