Roy Harper#

It was a cold, snowy day in December. Honestly, I can't remember the date so I'll just start from there. "Ahem" anyways, It had been approximately a year since the news about me being a clone had practically spread across the globe and I was pretty much on my own. I had a few people helping me with my search for the real Roy Harper, but unfortunately, that had proven to be futile. It wasn't long before they all started calling me obsessed and telling me I needed to get on with my life. Like I was gonna listen. I probably should've, but I didn't.

At the time, I was searching for, well, I wasn't really sure. But I knew that I couldn't just stick around my apartment doing nothing but dwelling on the fact that I wasn't my own person, so I decided to snoop around Gotham after hours. Bad idea! At least that's what I used to think.

There I was, just minding my own business. Not even breaking into some bad guys den or spying on a big wig gangster. No. I was just jumping rooftop to rooftop without a thought when out of nowhere this crazy cat lady jumps up at me, pinning me to the ground! And I'm not talking about Catwoman. If it had been her, I could've thrown a cat toy and she would've chased after it, leaving me to go on my merry way. But no! No. It had to be none other then little miss crazy hair and cute legs Cheshire! Of all people! I wouldn't have even minded it being her dad! Crazy right! I know! Even he is easier to get away from than her.

As she pinned me to the ground, I could swear I heard her purr. Which, by the way, is kind of weird. Anyways, as I struggled to get her off of me, she grabbed her sais and stuck one on each side of my jacket into the wood of the roof. Fighting to get them out, she began to speak.

"Wow Red. That was pathetic. Have you lost your touch?" Cheshire says with a soft, syrupy tone.
"No! I haven't Cheshire! What do you want?! I wasn't even doing anything! Red Arrow responds in a sharp blurt.
"I don't want a thing. I just saw you and decided to play."
"Yeah, well the next time you want to play, go buy a dog!"
Instantly Cheshire begins to giggle most hysterically, yet somewhat adorably.
"Oook. Now you are starting to freak me out!"Roy says in utter disgust while still trying to squirm out of his rattrap.
"It's ok Red. If you want me to release you, all you have to do is ask." "Why in the world would I waste my time?! I can get out easily!" Roy reply's in a stern, irritated voice.
"Ok. Sure. I'll uh, just stand here and wait. Alright?" Cheshire sighs while propping herself against an old brick chimney.
It had been over ten minutes and Roy still couldn't break loose without ripping his brand new winter jacket.
"Yawn. You almost done. I'm starting to fall asleep." Cheshire speaks with obvious sarcasm.
"I'm fine! Leave me alone! I'll get out eventually!" Roy yells.
"Um yeah. Sure. Does that 'eventually' pertain to this month or the next? Because those are my sais, and I'll want them back."
"Ahhhhh! Forget it!" Immediately Roy rips his jacket completely in three leaving behind shreds of fabric and two beautifully polished sais still stuck in the wood.
"That took awhile." Cheshire quietly comments as Roy paces up to her in anger while she looks completely relaxed.
"Who do you think you are! Now you owe me a new jacket!" Roy angrily yells in Jade's face.
All She can do is smile with a gracefully raised eyebrow.
"Quit looking at me like that!" Roy blurts
"What? Can't take me seriously? Reminds me of how I feel with your yelling at me. Don't turn yourself into a joke Red." With Jade only making matters worse, Roy feels he can say nothing and just looks at her with what appears to be pure hatred.
Looking back at him, Cheshire feels entirely satisfied as it shows through her face.
"Enjoying the view, Red?" Cheshire grins
"You are impossible to talk to! And don't call me Red!" Roy pronounces.
"Why? You are red, aren't you?"
"That's not the point!" Roy shouts.
Immediately, Jade grabs Roys uniform pulling him in for a passionate kiss. Roy, completely stunned, does nothing but stand there. Moments pass and Roy finally snaps out of it, backing away.
"Why did you do that?! You're a criminal!" Roy responds in a confused, yet angry tone.
"I know, but I felt like it." Cheshire says while creeping closer.
"Stop coming towards me! You can't kiss me! If the League saw..." Jade then interrupts, "What? They'd kick you out? Kind of late for that don't you think?" With anger, yet shame in his eyes, Roy could say nothing but, "Just, just stay away from me. Ok. I have enough problems."
As Roy begins walking away, Cheshire whispers something that catches his ear.
"What did you say?" Roy anxiously questions.
"Oh nothing. Just that I might be able to help you find your little friend." Cheshire speaks calmly.
"How?! You know where the real Roy Harper is?!"
"One, don't call him the real Roy Harper. And two, I might be able to help you look for him.
