Hey. It's me again. You know, Will Harper aka Roy "the clone." Tonight I'm gonna write about something that boils my blood every time I think about it even to this day. Sure now it doesn't make me as mad as it use to, actually, to honest, it kind of attracts me. It makes me feel like kissing my wife ten million times stronger. Looking back, I realize how much power that woman has over me. Someday she is gonna feel the passion I hold inside. Someday soon. She'll be back. I can feel it. Anyways, there we were, grocery shopping. I hated grocery shopping when I was younger. It doesn't bother me so much now. Go figure. Kids change you.

"Jade, do we need any milk?" Roy questions, holding up a 2% jug of fresh cows milk.
Jade raises a brow in disappointment.
"What?!" Roy glares.
"Wrong milk. We get 1% not 2%. Jade replies while grabbing the "correct" milk.
Roy just rolls his eyes, putting the other milk away.
"Ok. Next on the list is peanut butter." Jade continues, grabbing Pippy's Creamy Peanut Butter.
"Hold on, Jade. We aren't getting this brand and we certainly aren't getting creamy peanut butter. I like the crunchy kind." Roy says, taking the jar out of Jade's hand.
"Hey! I don't like any other kind! And crunchy is disgusting!" Jade snaps.
"Too bad! We're getting the crunchy kind."
"No. We're not." Jade argues, snatching the jar back.
"Sigh! Jade! Don't argue with me!"
"Excuse me! I'll argue with you if I please! I'm not your child!"
"No, you're not. But you're acting like one! Now put the jar down and drop the subject." Roy patiently responds.
Jade shoves the jar back on the shelf, angrily pushing the cart away.
"Good grief." Roy grumbles.

Eventually Roy and Jade make their way to the hygiene products.

"Ooook. Shampoo, check. Deodorant, check. Toothpaste, check. Hmm...anything else we're forgetting, Jade?" Roy asks.
"I don't think so." Jade responds.
"Do you need any, you know? Roy lowers his voice, clearly uncomfortable.
"Any what?" Jade questions, completely oblivious.
"Any, well, you know."
"Know what!" Jade yells.
"Girl stuff, Jade!" Roy blurts.
Immediately Jade's face turns a bright pink.
"Actually, yeah. I, uhh, do."
"Ok then. Do you want me to come with you or..? "
"Oh come on Roy! It's not that big a deal! Just walk with me!" Jade glares.
"Sigh. Seriously. Jade, this is awkward." Roy quietly speaks.
"Too bad!" Jade scowls.
"Really? Is this attitude all because I didn't let you get creamy peanut butter?" Roy questions.
"Whatever!" Jade crosses her arms.
"You need to learn to listen to me. I'm your husband, Jade! Don't you know what that means?!"
"Apparently it means I'm a child again! Oh daddy! Please help me pick out my girly girl things please. Since I can't even choose my own peanut butter, I shouldn't be trusted with such grownup responsibilities!" Jade spurts.
"Fine!!!! Go get the peanut butter!"
"Don't yell at me!!" Jade yells.
"Don't yell at me!" Roy responds.
"Shush! People are staring!" Jade frowns.
"Who cares! Obviously you don't!" Roy scoffs.
Jade just responds by crossing her arms and turning away.
"Just grab your stuff and we can leave. Ok?" Roy quietly directs.
Without a word, Jade complies.

After leaving the store, Roy and Jade have a very quiet car ride home. Not so much as a glare from each other. They soon arrive at their apartment, and begin putting their groceries away. While taking stuff out of the bags, Roy pulls out a package of pregnancy tests.

"Jade, what are these?" Roy questions.
"Uhhh...well, Roy, those are pregnancy tests." Jade replies.
"I see that. You're not...?" Roy slowly continues.
"Pregnant? Well, I don't think so, but I figured it would be a good idea to have a couple tests close by. Just in case." Jade softly smiles.
"Wait, are you implying that you want a baby?" Roy asks with surprise.
"Well, I mean, someday. You know, down the road a bit." Jade grins.
"No Jade. Take your pills and just forget about it." Roy responds, tossing the small box on the table.
"Why not? It's not like it would happen immediately. I'm just saying, in time." Jade continues.
"Drop it, Jade. We're not having a baby."
"Ever?" Jade angrily questions.
"Probably." Roy replies.
"What?! Why not?!" Jade blurts.
"Look! The last thing I need is a mini me or you crawling around telling me what to do!"
"Don't you want children with me, ever?" Jade asks with disappointment.
Roy, noticing Jade's sorrowed face, walks over to her, embracing her in his arms.
"Sigh, alright. Maybe someday very, very far from now." Roy complies.
Looking down, Roy grasp's Jade's chin, directing her face towards his.
"Babe, let's not argue anymore. Ok?" Roy says.
"Ok. Fine." Jade sighs.
Good. Now come here." Roy responds as he holds Jade tightly, passionately kissing her.

Looking back, it's hard for me to even like the kind of man I was, especially towards Jade. I really was a jerk. That or a kid trying to grow out of his cloned body into a man, using his control of a real woman to do the job. What a child I was. I hope Jade sees me differently now.
