I get back to the school, annoyed to see Will waiting for me. I walk right past him making my way back into the school as he keeps following me. "Bill-"

"Leave me the hell alone, Will. I don't want to talk to you."

"If you would just fucking let me explain-"

"I don't want to hear it."

I go into the storage closet again, pressing my back against it to keep him out. I hear him sigh on the other side of the door.

"You can't just pretend that I don't exist forever, especially not with how much further you have to go with those tapes."

I sigh hearing him walk away. I take a seat on the gym mat, laying back on it and closing my eyes as I put in the earbuds and press play on the walkman.

"Number 4. This one is for Candy. Not as sweet as her name implies."

I don't know her very well. I just know that she's a close friend of Mabel's and is part of the yearbook club.

"During the month of october junior year, I started noticing something. Walking home I always felt the hairs on the back of my neck standing on edge and then when I would be getting dressed or going to bed I would hear a click. Like someone taking pictures. It would scare me so much that I couldn't sleep. I didn't want Bill to know, didn't want him to worry about me. Same with the rest of my family. So I confided in someone else."

I let Tad in, him carrying a camera.

"What's the camera for?"

"I figured that we could nab a photo of whatever creep is taking stalker pictures of you at night. Might scare them off."

"That's not a half bad idea actually. Thanks for coming over like this."

"Anytime man." He runs his hand over some alcohol bottles in the liquor cabinet. "This your great uncle's?"

"Yeah, Stan likes to have a cold one when he's had a long day."

"You think he'll notice if one goes missing? Just for some liquid courage?"

"Even if he notices, I'm sure that he won't mind."

I take the bottle before we head upstairs to my room. I shut the door behind him as we sit on my bed, the sun already having set and it being dark outside.

To pass the time, we share the drink and play truth or dare, somehow both of us ending up shirtless at some point before it's his turn.

"Okay. Truth or dare, Dipper?"

"Dare."

".....kiss me."

I choke on the drink I had just taken, coughing slightly. "W-What?"

"Come on. It won't even mean anything. I know you aren't interested in me but I'm straight so it's just a stupid dare."

"....um.....okay....just a quick one though."

He cups my cheek in his hand before he leans close, his lips connecting with mine. I feel him slowly deepen the kiss, his tongue making it's way known in my mouth. I put my hand on his shoulder, gently trying to push him off as I hear that fucking camear click outside my window.

I grab at Tad's camera on the bed, snapping his picture blinding him making him recoil before I turn to the window, snapping pictures hearing a girls short scream.

Going to the window I see it's Candy sitting in one of the pine trees outside, clutching the branch like she nearly fell out of it.

"Candy?"

She looks up at me like a deer in the headlights before she scrambles out of the tree.

I turn back to Tad but he's just looking at me in horror.

"You told me it was some creepy dude who lived nearby that was taking pictures."

"I said I thought it was him. I didn't know it was Candy."

"I-I have to go."

Before I can stop him, he pulls his shirt back on and picks up his camera leaving the house.

.........................................

"The next day, I talked to Candy about the pictures. After she gave them to me, she tried to ask me out. I turned her down and the next day, she post a picture of me and Tad kissing onto the school's website, except from the angle you couldn't clearly tell who it was. Either way, that picture helped spread the rumors that started after that."

The tape ends as I open my eyes. I pull the earbuds out as I get up, walking into the halls and stop outside his locker seeing Candy set a rose on the ground outside the locker.

"Why a rose?"

She jumps slightly before turning to me.

"I just want him to know I cared, if he can see from heaven."

"Anyone who really knew Dipper, would know he hated roses. He thought that they were overused and cliche. Why the pictures?"

"I don't know, okay? I had helped him take some photos for a photo contest in the beginning of the year and was on the way to his house to give him those pictures when I saw him through his open bedroom window. Before I knew it, I was holding my camera and aiming at his window snapping more pictures than I had film for."

"You climbed a fucking tree to get the pictures."

"No I didn't, not until the last night. But that was because he had his curtain partially covering the window. So I climbed the tree to get a better picture when I saw them sucking face."

"Why did you care who he was kissing?"

"Because when he asked for the pictures back and I asked him out, he said he wasn't interested in seeing anyone. I was mad that he would suck face with that teacher's pet but would lie to me about why he wouldn't go out with me."

"He was gay. He didn't come out until after the school dance later that month."

"I didn't know that at the time."

I scoff slightly before I walk away from her.
