Tommy was sitting on the sofa in his underground base, thinking about his traumatizing past. How he was sent to a different dimension only to bring back an apocalypse, how he was tested in a lab, how he escaped the lab and injured himself, how he was illegally adopted by the SBI, how often Techno and Phil used to argue about tiny things and mostly about his used to be lab mate, Grayson.
"Wake up! Tommy! Wake up!"
Tommy instantly snapped out of his thoughts and memories. It was his beloved fiancé, Purpled.
"Oh thank Dream XD you're here Tom! I almost thought I'd lose somebody I loved again!"
Purpled exclaimed while worrying about his fiancé.
"Yeah, sorry Purp, zoned out. I was thinking about my uhm....... past...."
Tommy said, while trying to calm his fiancé down.
"Tommy, what exactly happened in your past? I'm worried about you."
Purpled asked the half zombie British guy.
"I-" Tommy hesitated, he never really talked about his past. Not in therapy, not in front of Phil, not even Wilbur. The only ones who knew were Technoblade or as Tommy likes to call him 'Blood God', Tubbo and Ranboo knew. Not even Dream, his biological brother knew. Tommy thought for a while, should he tell his husband? What if Purpled leaves him for that? What if Purpled would hate him after him? He finally made a decision after maybe fifteen to twenty five seconds. He decided he would tell Purpled, after all, Purpled is his overall plantonic fiancé.
"I was tested in a lab."
Tommy paused as the flashbacks came back to him, he didn't really know if he should tell Purpled about his past or not. He really did not. Silence went over the whole entire living room.(Makes absolutely no sense because Tommy is half- dead)
Purpled broke the silence by saying something.
"Tommy, I was tested in a lab too. In fact, my real name isn't even Purpled. I just changed it to match my adoptive family."
Purpled admitted. He felt the weight on his shoulders lighten. He finally told xe's fiancé that.(Yes, Purpled or Grayson uses Xe/He/They pronouns so shut the fuck up or I will politely and respectfully strangle you and hunt your family down./hj)
"Really? Or are you just trying to make me feel better because i don't mind being the only one-"
Tommy said but was cut off by his fiancé.
"Yes, I really WAS tested." Purpled confirmed. "I used to have a lab mate called Theseus, he like to be called Tommy. He was such a great guy." Purpled said, recalling his memories while letting out a comforting smile. "You know, my name used to be Grayson. I never really liked it, and since I liked purple, and still do by the way. Punz's family named me Purpled. Even though, it was a little bit weird, I still got to match initials with Punz so I guess it was fine." Purpled finally finished talking about his name.
"Grayson? Is- is that really you?" Tommy started tearing up.
