As the day of February 13th ended, Valentines day approached. Tommy was asleep while Purpled was reading instead. "To be or not to be" the book read. Purpled put a bookmark on the page he was reading and closed his book. Putting his book away, the realization of reality hit him. It was valentines day! The special day where lovers celebrate their love together, reminding each other that no matter what, they will be there for them. Well as for Purpled, he thought that it might be a good idea to get Tommy a present. As he tip toed outside the door, he put on his shoes and scurried away. He had a mission and that was to buy Tommy a valentines gift. He bolted to the gifts shop looking for the perfect gift.
"Hello fellow gentleman! Looking for a gift for ya lady? " the man asked in a cow boyish accent.
"Oh my gawd I'm so sorry!! " the man apologized, as he bowed.
"Uh it's ok, do you have any recommendations for me? " purpled asked feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Hm let's see, here's a Boquet with alliums, calendulas, daisies and roses to add the romantic feeling! " the man said, picking out a Boquet.
"That would be quite nice, do you have any chocolates too? " purpled asks.
"Of course! Here's a purple packaging, pink and red. They're all Godiva chocolate!" The salesman said cheerfully.
(seriously, try Godiva chocolate if you haven't, it's the best)
"I'll take the purple packaged one with the Boquet please. " purpled said after pausing for a while to think.
"That'll be 90 dollars please! " The salesman said pulling out a calculator. Looking at his messy wallet which had doodles that Tommy drew on it, he found a 100 dollar bill, he took it out and handed it to the salesman.
"Keep the change, and thank you er....... " purpled said as he glanced around looking for the salesman name tag.
"Boris, Boris Soot. Have a nice day sir! "
The salesman offering a hand out to shake while introducing himself.
"Nice to meet you, Boris. "
Purpled stuttered out, hearing 'Soot', immediately bolting away from the salesman, while Boris was left there awkwardly with his hand out.
Rushing back to their base, Purpled opens the door and shuts it, barely getting a breathe. Once he caught his breathe, he pulled out his phone and check the time, 10 A.M. He still had some time until Tommy wakes up. He quickly crafted a snack box for Tommy, leaving on their dining table, he creeps into their room and wakes up Tommy 'gently'.
"WAKE UP!!!!!! " Purpled screams at his lover.
"AWH MY GAWD PURP WHAT" Tommy screamed, covering his ears.
"It's valentines day silly! " Purpled chirped happily.
"Oh I completely forgot Purp!! I'm so sorry!"
Tommy quacked and panicked....
