Annoying

Ever since I saw N.U personally, it already became my dream school. Not just because of how pretty it looks like but I also like their educational system. I tried gathering some information about them and I was really amazed by what I found out.

Last year ko pa gustong magsabi kay Mama ng tungkol do'n pero natatakot ako. Alam ko na kasi na hindi siya papayag dahil bukod sa hindi niya kaya ang tuition ko, ayaw niya rin na mapalayo ang isa samin. Kaya rin siya nagtransfer sa school na pinapasukan namin ni Aki para daw sama sama kami.

Hindi ko siya naintindihan nung una pero tungkol lang pala 'yon kay Papa dahil ayaw niya na magkita kami. I don't even know why. Mysterious pa rin kasi ang story nilang dalawa. Pero nagulat din ako nung pumayag siya na nasa iisang school kami ng mismong tatay ko. Akala ko kasi papagalitan niya ko nang sobra sobra.

Nagpaalam na ko kay Mama nang makatapos akong kumain. Ngayon yung araw na pinapapunta ako sa school para sa sched ko.

"Ma, alis na po ako," I kissed her cheek.

"Ingat," she smiled at me so I smiled wider.

Sumakay ako ng jeep at pagdating don, sobrang dami ng students. I smiled in excitement and straightly went to registrar's office. Marami ang nakapila so I patiently wait until it's my turn.

"Hello, Miss Gomez. Mr. Galvez were curious pala kung bakit niyo raw po siya hinahanap. Pinapatanong po kung bakit," the staff smiled at me.

Natigilan ako at tinitigan siya nang mabuti.

"Ah by the way, I'm his secretary and I'm also a student here. Jenny," she stretched her hand out.

I also stretched mine and took her.

"Jellieza," I replied. "Hmm pakitanong nalang Jenny if pwede ko siya makausap personally. Important matter lang,"

She smiled. "Sige po. I have your number naman so I guess I'll just call you?"

I nodded and got my schedule and I.D. I sighed as I went out the office. Why am I so anxious? Was he really that rich to have a secretary in this school? But she said that she's also a student here. Was it possible that she's my father's scholar? Wait... was he the one who's giving scholarship here?!

After spacing out, I decided to walk towards the cafeteria. Hindi ako makatingin nang maayos sa dinadaanan ko dahil barado ang utak ko. Kung makakaharap ko kaya siya, ano kaya ang sasabihin ko? Will I tell him directly?

"Are you drowning? Should I save you?" I heard someone in front of me, dahilan para mapatingala ako. Taas naman nito!

Malapit na pala sana kaming magkabanggaan kaya lumayo ako agad at tumikhim. When I properly saw his face, my brows furrowed. He seems familiar!

He suddenly smirked. "Your stares were flattering me,"

I scoffed. "Ano bang pinagsasabi mong drown?!"

He chuckled. "Lunod na lunod kana kasi sa iniisip mo, eh. So here I am, offering some help to at least save you,"

Nadapo ang tingin ko sa ngiti niya. He has a perfect set of white teeth. Bumalik ang tingin ko sa mata niya at nakita ko kung pano nagbago ang tingin niya. He looks uncomfy now.

I cleared my throat. "Thanks, but I'm not really that drowned," I smiled sweetly before I continue walking.

Napabuga ako ng hangin at napairap nang makalayo ako sa kanya. Damn those silly smiles! He's annoying but I can't deny that he's good looking.
