WE WENT up on the roof, going over to the edge. "That was... intense." I shrugged, sighing.

Peter chuckled, "I'm sorry. You know, I thought he was going to arrest me at one point."

"I wouldn't have let him." I shook my head with a giggle as he leaned his head all the way down before standing straight.

"I'm going to tell you something." He stated, turning to me.

"All right." I smiled, noticing how close together we were, though I did nothing about it. I watched him try to put words together slowly.

"I've been bitten..."

"Mhm?"

"Okay..." He looked at my lips for a second. "Okay, okay, okay, okay. I gotta tell you this one thing. I gotta tell you this one thing, and it's abou- it's about th-the vigilante and the car thief, all right?"

"Oh." I took a step back.

"What?... No, no, no. Don't." Peter shook his head, waving his hand.

"I don't exactly wanna talk about that." I said.

"Okay, no, forget that. I'm not gonna talk about that. I'm gonna talk about me, okay?" He nodded, understanding and taking my hand in his.

"What about you, Peter?" I looked up at him, confused.

"It's impor... I-I wish I could just... I can't. It's hard to say. I don't know..." He struggled.

"Peter... take a deep breath. It's only me, you can say it." I attempted to calm him down. He turned back forward, facing the city, shaking his head and sighing. "What is it?"

He faced me, before doing the same thing, again. I turned around, walking towards the door. "All right, tell me when you're ready."

Suddenly something stuck itself to my hip. I looked down at a white spider web, glancing back at Peter before being spun into him. I stared up at him, gasping. "It's you?"

Then he captured his lips in mine, holding my cheek in one hand and my waist in the other. My arms were around his neck, welcoming the kiss. I pulled away for a second, taking a breath. "You're him..."

"Shut up." He demanded, kissing me again. He leaned his head to the side, making out with me.

"Gemma?" My mother shouted, looking for me. We parted ways quickly, and I saw my mother standing in the doorway. "Uh, your father wants you to come inside, right away."

"Yeah, got it..." I nodded, licking my lips and looking down.

"Gem."

"Coming, give me a second. I'll be there in a minute." I informed her and she left. I turned back to Peter. "You okay?"

"Yeah." He smirked, holding my hips and I placed my hands on his chest.

"I gotta go, but I'll see you later." I stated, pecking his lips.

"I-I know." He muttered and continued pecking my lips.

"I gotta go, Pete..." I said, pushing him away sadly.

"Fine, fine." He sighed. I headed towards the door before looking back at him and seeing Parker jump over the edge after hearing sirens. I sighed to myself, going inside.

It was after school, and I was with Peter outside on the field, where the team was playing, on the bleachers. I was sitting closely beside him while we talked.

"So, how did you get your powers again, Pete?" I asked, playing with his hair.

"I got bit by a spider at Oscorp." He chuckled with his arm around my waist, pulling me closer than I already was.

"When you snuck in, 'cause you 'loved science'?" I scoffed, cupping his jaw.

"Technically, t-that wasn't a lie." Peter shrugged his shoulders.

"Uh-huh..." I smiled, kissing his cheek. "Who else knows about this?"

"Just you..." He sighed and I was caught by surprise.

"Not even your aunt, Peter?" I said, rubbing his cheek with my thumb.

"N-no, she'd freak out if she found out." He shook his head quickly. "H-hey, you don't believe what the police are saying, d-do you?"

"Obviously, not. He may be my dad and whatever, but sometimes he can be...himself." I chuckled, letting my hand fall in my lap, leaning my forehead on his shoulder. "What was the thing on the bridge last night?"

"I don't know, it was big. Too big to be human. I gotta go after it..."

"But that's not your job, Peter." I lifted my head up, pecking his cheek.

"Maybe it is." He turned my face with his hand, kissing me and moving me onto his lap. Peter mumbled in between kisses, "You taste so good..."

I pulled away slowly, leaning my forehead on his while giggling. "Oh, my god, Peter..."

"It's true, Gem, i-it's kinda addicting even." He chuckled, moving a piece of hair behind my ear. Parked came closer, about to kiss me again before he caught a football, throwing it back. Suddenly we heard a bang. We looked over and saw the goal post bent. The players yelled in confusion.

"You gotta stop damaging the nets in this school." I scolded him.

"Whatever, princess..." He smirked, peppering kisses on my jawline.
