Chapter 10: In The Town

They got in the town, it was crowded, there's music, people dancing and there were decorations everywhere.
"Woow it's like there is a festival here. Can we check it out?" Soreen asked with excitement.
"You seem to love festivals a lot," Gladiolus said.
"Well... I have never been onto one before," Soreen said.
"How come?" Noctis asked.
"Well, I'm a princess and with that comes responsibilities, also I have to stay so I can become a proper lady or something, therefore I never went outside the castle doors, as you know yourself, since you're a prince and all," Soreen said.
"What! You're a princess!" Ignis said, shocked and with that all of them. Then he parked the car at the same time.
"I know I Know I don't act like a princess at all... but enough about me, so come on let's get out from the car I want to see the festival," Soreen said, pushing Prompto.
"Okay Okay I will get out, stop pushing," he said getting out of the car.
"Finally I'm out, come guys let's go," Soreen said with excitement going between the crowds.
"Wait, don't go!" Prompto said, worried as he followed her.
"I'll go to see the hotels," Gladiolus said and went on his way.
"I'll go and buy some groceries for the long way ahead of us," Ignis said and went on his way.
"I guess I will go after the kids, haha," Noctis said, going to look for Soreen and Prompto.
The time goes by when Noctis, Prompto and Soreen walk-through the festival, they eat ice cream, play games and have a good time. Suddenly Soreen stopped seeing a skatepark and she was impress, "Why did you stop her?" Noctis asked tiredly.
"Do you want to skate?" Prompto asked Soreen.
"What? Me skate ... noo, besides I never tried skating before and I might fall and all," Soreen said concerned.
"Come on, it will be fun, when Noctis and I were your age, we used to skate, besides we're going to help you, isn't it that's right?" Prompto said, looking at Noctis in any way that says, "Say yes or else."
"Ammm, yeah, we'll help, don't worry about it," Noctis said nervously.
"You know you don't need to sound like an old man, I'm only five years younger than you," Soreen said looking at Prompto with a shark eye.
"Wait what! an old man!? I'm saying this as your brother," Prompto said, surprised.
"Okay big brother, you don't need to look after me," Soreen said, a bit annoyed.
Prompto smiles, "How about you pick whatever skateboard you want and I will buy it for you."
Soreen sighed, "Do whatever you want," then she went to the store.
"Hey, why are you all around her?" Noctis asked Prompto when Soreen left.
"When I was frozen, I heard a girl crying. When I came to see what's going on, I saw her crying nonstop. I don't know why but somethings going on, so I'm acting like this to make her feel happy and all," Prompto said.
"You worry too much she's strong," Noctis said then they went to the store to see Soreen.
They got inside the store Soreen went to Prompto and she was holding a skateboard, "This is the one that I want."
Prompto looked at it, it was blak full of twinkling stars and the moon was in the middle. He flipped it over to see how much it was, then he looked at Soreen with worried , "How about you choose something that costs less money."
"You said anything that I want, big brother," Soreen said with a precise look.
Prompto looked beside him and he didn't see Noctis, then Prompto pulled out his phone and there was a text from Noctis that said, "When you're done text me, there's something that I wanna see."
"Don't leave me alone dealing with this," Prompto but then he said to Soreen, "Yes I said that, I will buy it for you," he sighing and went to the cashier, then he thought, "Will at least this will not empty my wallet completely." He was going to pay for the skateboard then he felt a top on his shoulder behind him, he turned around and was Soreen holding a dark blue hard shell helmet, back cut resistant gloves, knee pads and elbow. She was smiling, "You know safety is necessary."
"My wallet has finished," Prompto thought so sadly as he was paying for the equipment.
After a while Ignis and Gladiolus came to the skatepark, "Hey guys, look I can skate on a skateboard," Soreen said going to them, "Also, how do you know that we are here?"
"Noctis gave us a call," Gladiolus said.
"I'm not going to asked how he call him, because I would look stupid in front of them," Soreen thought.
Then Noctis and Prompto came behind Soreen, "I saw a restaurant that sells hamburgers near here. How about we eat there and then go to the hotel," Ignis said.
All of them went to the restaurant and it was full, because of the festival; the only place that was empty was near the window. They sat down on a table Noctis, Ignis were on one side and the weather were Prompto and Gladiolus, Soreen was on the head of the table. The waiter came and took everybody's order, The force had arrived and because, french fries and soda.
"This hamburger and french fries are so delicious, I never had this kind of food in the palace," Soreen said while eating another bite.
Everyone smiled and continued eating, after a while Ignis asked Soreen seriously, "Soreen, did you run away from the palace?"
Prompto looked at Ignis in a confused way that said, "What are you asking this right now," then he said to Soreen, "You don't have to answer."
"It's OK, I don't mind, in fact when I was little I was a troublemaker, running in the halls, I didn't study, drawers in the walls, running away a lot, stuff like that, but I was punished every time. reading an extra book and I have to write a report on it, I will not have my favorite ice cream, have an external class in being a proper lady, you know stuff like that," Soreen said smiling.
"And now?" Gladiolus asking.
"And now, I'm on a journey going from place to place, to defeat the Time Breakers," Soreen said.
"Time Breakers? What do you mean by that?" Noctis asked.
"The weird creatures that you guys fought yesterday," Soreen explained.
"Well the sun is going to set, we should pay for the food and then go to the hotel and rest, because we're leaving tomorrow morning," Ignis said standing up.
They all went to the hotel Noctis and Prompto in a room, Ignis and Gladiolus were in a separate room and Soreen was in a room by herself. She entered her room and put her skateboard, helmet, gloves, knee pads and elbow near the bed. She looked at the window, saw the sunset and then she went to bed and fell asleep.
