Chapter 12: It Is Hard

Soreen woke up, lolking at the window, looking at the bulo say the people walking around. Then she heard a knock on the door, "Soreen, get up, we are having breakfast and then we are leaving," Ignis said behind the door.
"Got it, give me five minutes," Soreen said. As she was getting ready, her keypad appeared out of nowhere and started blowing. Soreen was shocked, she tried to touch it but it disappeared, "What?! what's going on?"
"Soreen, we all want to go to the lobby to eat, come and junas us when you are ready," Prompto said.
"Su-sure," Soreen said, confused about what had happened earlier.
As Soreen was going to the lobby she was a person wearing all black covering his face sitting in front of her. She remembered the same person in her dream. She summoned her keyplate and went to attack him, "Do you want to take what is lost?" The person said.
Soreen stopped and looked at him strangely, "What do you mean?"
The person reached his hand, "Take my hand and you will know."
Soreen thought a bit, "No! I'll not take it! Not ever," Soreen said, running toward him, holding the keyblade ready to attack. She crossed a person in half, she looked behind her and nothing happened.
"So this is the way you want to go, have fun while it lasts," the person said and disappeared with an evil laugh.
"He's gone, I wonder what he was talking about, take what I have lost, have fun while it lasts... he makes my head hurt so much, I'm hungry, I want to eat something," Soreen was thanking while she was going to the cafeteria.
Soreen got inside the cafeteria and then she was called by Prompto, "Soreen we are here," he was waving.
She sat down with the guys still thinking about what happened, "What's wrong? You seem upset," Gladiolus said. But she didn't answer him, "Soreen... Soreen... Soreen!"
"Ha, y-yeah, what's up?" Soreen hesitatingly said, with a fake smile.
"Are you alright? You seem out of it today?" Prompto said concerned.
"Yeah never been better," Soreen said, faking excitement, then she shut up, "You know what, I'm hungry, maybe that's why I was spacing out. I will have some bread and egg or something, see you in a bit," then she left the table.
"Something must be wrong, she isn't asking herself lately," Prompto said worried.
As Soreen took her food she was thinking about leaving the guys and she had to know what that person said and meant. Then she stood in the line to pay for the food out of the blue, Gladiolus came beside her, "The food will be on me."
"Thank you, not like I have money," Soreen said with a soft smile.
They were silent for a while, "So you like eat eggs and bread with jam?" Gladiolus said, trying to make a conversation.
"Yeah I guess," Soreen replied.
Then there was awkward silence, "You know I'll get to the chase, you are like my little sister, you can tell me if something is bothering you," Gladiolus said with concern.
"I hate saying goodbyes, but I have to," Soreen said softly.
"That's it, I thought something urgent bad happened, it's OK besides there's a good in the word goodbye," Gladiolus said.
They buy the food and on their way to the table, "You should tell them that you're leaving they are worried about," Gladiolus said.
They reached the table and sat down with everybody, Soreen looked at them, "Everyone I'm sorry that I made you worried about me, the thing is...goodbyes are really hard for me," Soreen said with sadness.
"Then good luck wherever you are going to," Ignis said
"Just remember to be careful," then Noctis said next.
"Don't forget to take your skateboard with you," Prompto said, giving Soreen a wink.
"Hold on, you guys are not sad because I'm leaving," Soreen said, confused.
"It's OK we know one day or another that we will go apart at some point," Noctis said smiling, then he continued eating.
"You know that I may never see guys again," Soreen said, concerned.
"We know, we just want you to go home safely," Ignis said, then he continued eating.
"You guys," Soreen said then she started to tear up.
Everyone looked at her, "Oww you don't need to cry," Prompto said.
"I'm not crying, I'm eating the delicious food," Soreen was eating too fast.
After they finished eating, Soreen went to her room taking all her stuff, she went to the door, "I think you had enough fun. How about you go with me instead of them," Soreen turned around and saw the person in black. She summons her keyblade, "Wow girl take it easy, I'm just here to chat. Checking if you change your mind about my offer," the person said.
"No, I haven't," Soreen responded violently.
"Wow you're a feisty one, now tell me this. How are you going to tell them that this is your place, this is your home, but it is not. You're actually from another world. How are you going back to your world? Is youer keyplate opening a portal?" The person keeps asking and asking, pushing Soreen into a corner.
"I'll figure it out. I don't need your help," Soreen said.
"And here I thought that I may help you," the person said.
"Well, you thought wrong, I don't need you or need any of your help," Soreen said.
"Before I go away have you ever thought of these questions, why am I having these dreams, why am I seeing these flashes when I am traveling between worlds, who is the real you? Why are you choosing to have this journey? Well, I guess that's all going to go to waste. Goodbye," the person said and opened the portal then the person was going to go inside it.
Soreen thought then she said, "Wait! I may consider your offer, but tell me this genius, once they know that I am missing, then they are going to freak out, so what do you want to do?" She is disappointed with herself because she has no options left.
"Will simply, I will restart memories," the person said.
"What! You can't do that," Soreen freaked out.
"Why not? You have been doing it since you started your journey, didn't you?" The person said.
"Yeah, I have but... wait have you been spying on me?" Soreen said in an irritated way.
"Do you want to find out who you are or not, because this conversation is going nowhere," the person said.
"Fine, do what you have to," Soreen said with a sigh.
Person in black did the spell then he opened a portal. Soreen went with him, with sadness in her eyes, leaving everything behind.
