Prom-posal?

"Will you Y/N Hopper, go to the winter formal with me?" Smiling Eddie holds up the poster he had made with a black marker and some glitter glue."NO that's stupid" he says to himself looking away from the mirror, "Just ask her, you don't have to worry" he repeats to himself a couple of times before rushing out of the door of his uncles trailer and to his van.

Y/N's POV
I parked my car and got out, Steve and Nancy a little behind me, "Can I have a chat with Steve for a second Nance?" I asks smirking at her "Sure" she says with a giggle and heads inside to go to her locker. "So when are you gonna ask her?" I say whilst checking that she's inside, "I think I'm gonna do it tonight" he said, grinning from ear to ear. "Have you made a poster?" I said walking up to my locker "Yep all sorted" and we both decided to shut up because Nancy was walking over.

After two boring lessons I left the class room to see what all of the commotion was about outside. A boy was stood there holding a sign sayin "be the queen to my king and go to the formal with me?" And then suddenly I was being pushed into the centre of a circle of students "Jason what is this?" I say giving him a confused look. "Come on now, I'm sick of you playing hard to get, just go to the dance with me?" But as he's talking I zone out because I see Eddie walking down the other end of the hall, he was holding a small peice of poster paper folded around to be the size of a text book, but when he looked up and saw what was going on he looked as if his heart shattered and without saying a word he turned and walked away. "Y/N still waiting on an answer?" Jason carried on "Jason you really think you deserve a freak like me?" I said before pushing my way out of the circle and in the direction Eddie had just walked in but as soon as I got on the steps of the school I saw his van leaving. So I bolted to my car and slammed the gas down so I could follow him, I'm not walking away this time.

He got to his uncles trailer before I did, when I got there I could hear heavy metal blasting, to the point the walls were shaking. I banged on the door "Eddie, Eddie please open the door" at this point I started to cry and I just sat on the steps leading up into the trailer for a while, just crying. I had missed him more than I even wanted to recognise. I think I fell asleep on the stairs because I woke up and I was in Eddie's room. "How did I get here?" I groaned whilst rubbing my temple. "I carried you in, as much as I hate the idea of you going to the formal with that mouth breather, I couldn't leave you in the cold." He said whilst placing a cup of coffee next to me. "I don't get it?" I say whilst getting up out of his bed. "I didn't say yes to Jason because I wanted you to take me! I don't want Jason, I want you! But you never seem to even acknowledge me in that way and I-" I was angrily rambling on until I was interrupted with Eddie's lips on mine, it was like fireworks had been ignited in my stomach and I felt like my skin was electric. I never wanted it to end, but it did. "Woah, what was that?" I said in utter disbelief "Was it not obvious? Do I have to do it again?"He chuckled at my cute reaction "I mean I wouldn't be against the idea." I said whilst falling back onto his bed giggling, he then leaned over me and pecked me on the lips. "I came to school to ask you to come to the formal with me" he said and then I went to speak but he pressed his finger against my lip "-shhh, listening time. I may not be a jock or a normal person but will you go to the formal with me sweetheart?" Eddie said whilst bending down to pick up a ball of scrunched up paper and unfolded it and showed me his cute poster. 'Rock my world at the formal?' And it had our favourite band logos drawn out on it. "Of course I'll go with you!" I said whilst hugging him so tight I felt I might explode, this boy is beyond perfection.
