Chapter 6

Hiya. Im bored and tired and just did some ship art (Obamitsu, tanzen, inotan, inoaoi, tamayushi/yushitama. I'll put them in my art book sometime)

Anygays, Sum of the chapter:
A girl from Tomioka's old town recognises him from the red side of his haori and misgenders him infront of the other hashira, then sanemi comforts him after tomioka runs away👍 (bitch idk)

Tomioka POV still:

Shinazugawa and I kept walking together in awkward silence until we reached the others.

"Ah, waterboy and Windboy walking together? That's flamboyantly surprising." Uzui yelled, despite literally being right infront of us.

I kept quiet whilst Shinazugawa started yelling at Uzui, until eventually he started chasing him. Yeah that was- interesting. I turned away and reluctantly walked over to Mitsuri since she was calling me over. I sat down with them and we started chatting. Well, more like Kocho, Iguro, Mitsuri and Rengoku started chatting. I just listened and replied whenever I actually needed to.

Eventually Uzui and Shinazugawa came and sat with us all. I spaced out for a second,and ended up staring at Shinazugawa. More specifically, his abs. His scars looked attractive too. His facial one reminds me of Sabito. I snapped back to reality as Mitsuri handed me some food.

"O-oh. Arigato."
She handed everyone else food too, and they all started eating. I silently panicked seeing as I'd need to move my mask up if I was going to eat. Plus, ew. Food. I practically fainted after forcing myself to throw up after I ate. I mean.. I'd seem rude in front of everyone if I didn't eat.. but my mask-

Oh who gives a shit.

I slowly moved my mask up a bit so I could eat the food. Although, I did cover my mouth with my hand.

CUE THE TIMESKIP

It had been a while now, and we were all about to leave. Thank FUCKING god. I hated it here.

As I got up to leave, a girl who looked like- 19? Grabbed my wrist. I flinched and yanked my arm away from her.

"Who-"

"Hey, you're Yui Tomioka right? I can tell by the red side of your haori."

I stopped dead in my tracks. My blood ran cold as I processed what she just said. "Yui..? I- I'm Giyuu, not Yui."

"Mmm, still in that phase then. Of course. You never let things go, do you? Yui Tomioka. There were only two Tomioka children. Your parents died, so.. There was Tsutako and Yui. Your names Yui, not Giyuu." She said.

"Piss off."

"Honestly, I feel bad for you. For a woman you're quite masculine."

"I'm not-"

"Shut up. You are a woman wether you like it or not. You know that yourself."

I stared at the floor. She grabbed my mask and smiled.

Fuck. No- nononono.

I instantly ran off, my breathing speeding up. I collapsed in a forest, panicking.

Sanemi POV:

We were all getting ready to leave when this girl came up to Tomioka, then a bunch of shit happened.

*insert what just happened*

By pure reflex, I ran up and snatched the mask off her, and instantly ran after Tomioka. Better me than anyone else, seeing as I've seen his face. I stopped as I saw him collapsed by a tree, his head between his knees. He was breathing abnormally fast and small sobs came from him. I stared at him for a second then sat next to him.

I handed him his mask and pulled him in, for a half assed hug, I guess. He instantly grabbed onto my haori and started crying even more. Seeing him emit this much emotion shocked me, and since it was a negative emotion, I felt heart broken. He looked so helpless like this.

Shinobu POV?:

The rest of us hashira stood shocked by what just happened.

"What the fuck." I heard Uzui say.

Mitsuri stormed up to the girl who was talking to Tomioka. Now, Mitsuri isn't one to swear, or even yell, and she looked pissed right now.

"What the fuck?! Why would you do that?"

"I'm just telling her what she needs to know."

I ran up to Mitsuri and held her back from attacking this girl. I don't even know what just happened.
