Nice House

   After Katheryn paid for my ambulance and EMT fees, she took me over to her house. As we pulled up into her drive, I noticed the large Spanish villa-type house she had.

        We pulled up and a tiger-striped cat with patches of white ran up to her. "Hey, Kitty, have you been being a good kitty while I was gone?"

        The cat seemed to smile up at her with matching sky-blue eyes. The cat turned to observe the new visitor bombarding her house. She ran up to me and started to make Figure 8s around my legs.

        " That is the first time I've seen Kitty Purry react to a stranger. She must like you." Katheryn turned to Kitty and smiled," And anybody who has my Kitty's approval will fit in nicely."

        "Are you sure you're okay with me being here?" It was hard to believe someone would invite a complete stranger into their house on such a whim.

        "Of course, I'm not such a bitch that I would leave a young teen out on their own. Keep in mind you still don't know who you are. Of course you can stay."

        "Thanks, Katheryn. I'm sure that I'm fan being that the only music I have on my iPod is yours."

        "You can call me Katy. Here you can stay in which ever room you want."

        I realized that this woman is an incredibly beautiful woman so of course I had to ask,"So you're the only one who lives here, besides the beloved Kitty Purry."

        "Yes. I'm all by myself with nobody to cuddle, but I'm okay with the single life. You might occasionally see my therapist wandering in, but she's nice and it might not hurt you to take a therapy session. You should try transcendental meditation, it's very mind opening."

        "Maybe I will. Thanks Katy. It's nice to know somebody has my back in this cruel world."

        "Well, I'm here." And with that being said she wrapped me up in a bear hug.

        My iPod buzzed, so I did what any teen would do and checked it. It seemed to be Facebook about somebody that I didn't remember liking something. I decided to look at what I had on this device. I found all sorts of media files of me singing and rapping.

        "Is that you singing? 'Cause if it is you got some potential, kid."

        "Yeah. I guess it is. I'm amazed. I must know how to play guitar."

        "I'll be back." With that she vanished into the mammoth hallway. She returned with a blue guitar. "Here play this."
