The Beginning of The Best Thing In My Life

        I awoke the beeping of heart monitors in an ambulance. I saw a woman talking with an EMT officer. She had long black hair and a backwards Adidas hat on.

        "I'm sorry, ma'am," the EMT reasoned. "We didn't see him until you called."

        "Well, all that matters now is that he gets the medical care that he needs."

        "Do you know him?"

        "No I was just in my car when I saw him on the side of road, unconscious. I called as soon as I saw him."

        She looked back at me and had Ray Ban's on. I recognized her from somewhere but didn't know where. She came over to me and talked with me.

        "Hi, I'm Katheryn." She took her sunglasses off and had really beautiful sky blue eyes. She was very beautiful.

        "Hi?"

        "I saw you on the side of the road and decided I needed to help you. You were passed out. Are okay?"

        "Yeah my head hurts and I don't remember anything. Not even my self."

        "Well, we'll take care of the pain. Do you have anything in your pockets to remember who you are with."

        She called an EMT over and asked him for pain reliever. I looked into my pockets and all I had was an iPod, earbuds, and my wallet.

        "Crap."

        "What's wrong?"

       " I have no money to pay for this. All I have is this 20 dollar bill."

        "That isn't a problem. I can pay for it. Are you okay?."

        I turned my iPod on and my wallpaper was a picture of me and somebody else. I looked into the files and all I had was music that were all by the same artist, Katy Perry. I played one of them and it was titled, "Part of Me." It was pretty good.

        Katheryn started laughing. "You must remember some things to have that song play."

        "What do you mean?"

        "That's my song. You must not remember anything."

        "Really the only songs I have are Katy Perry's. Are you here?"

        "I am assuming you're a fan?"

        "I don't know. Nothing makes any sense."

        She wrapped me up in a bear hug and reassured me that everything would be okay.

        "You can stay the night at my house if you need to."
