"So... this is a goodbye already?"
You stood in front of Gorou, lips pursed and hands clasped together when you looked at the male who had just perked up so happily after seeing you again — just to then tell him that you'd be going with Tomo from that point on and watch how his tail and ears visibly dropped.
"I mean... I'm coming back! That's for sure! I still need to repay you for everything after all" you said, fidgeting with your hands as Tomo stood together with Kazuha a bit away, waiting for you to finish what had to be done. You still had to tell Kokomi after this, but it came in handy that the brown haired general already was on watatsumi island when you arrived.
Shaking his head, Gorou sniffed lightly as he quickly wiped his eyes for a small second before pulling you into a bone-crashing hug. "There is nothing you need to repay me for — just try and not get in too much trouble when you are away!" He said, still enclosing you tightly when you just did the same in return, even though your left arm was still a bit weak.
That little bitch of a limb just couldn't handle a broken thumb and being pierced by an arrow. What a loser.
However, that was not much to your interest at the moment and you felt your eyes getting watery, sniffing a bit as Gorou just did the same — both of you silently crying like the little kids you were — or actually not that much, but like people say: it's what's inside that matters. And inside of you two, were little, five year old brats.
"I'm gonna miss you" you mumbled, trying to blink away the stray tears that ran down your cheek as that mission failed miserably and only caused you to cry more.
"I'm gonna miss you too" the male cried, not being any better than you regarding the tear thing.
"[ y/n ]? Gorou?" You then heard the voice of Kokomi calling out to you both, turning to look at the female who appeared slightly confused, "are you crying?" She asked the obvious, staring at you while you still did not let go of Gorou.
