Sitting on the school steps, Kari holds her hoodie close to her. It was so cold today in her home town of Forks, Washington, that her hands where turning red from the cold temperature. It was days like this she wondered why she didn't stay year-round at her summer home, camp half-blood—a camp for very special kids.

School ended an hour ago, and she was waiting on her ride, but she was not surprised when it did not show up; it had been like this for as long as she could remember being forgotten about by the one parent she had.

So she stands and starts to walk, making her way home in the rain. Rain was nothing new in this small town of about 3,120 people. It rained so much we don't even need a weather report. Comped to the weather at camp, this was a 180, as the weather at camp is always perfect. But then again, when you have a Greek god controlling the weather at all times it's bald to be picture-perfect.

Knowing her dad, he was probably bitching to anyone that would lessen to him about Bella, her half-sister, who was getting married to Edward, a boy that had left for some months leaving Bella in a deep depression, only to come back as if nothing had happened. "Going home." Kari's voice is shaken by how cold she is. "Tell her to get in.'' She hears Edward say from the driver set. "Get in here. We're heading that way."

The passenger's back door opens to let the demi-god in. When she gets to the open door, to see Alice, Edward's sister, smiling at her. "Kari, how are you." the pixie-like girl asks as she hugs Dimi-god after she is in the car. Akri says nothing about how cold the girl is; she is not stupid; she knows they're not human. Any demigod would see that. The only question is what could they be; she had no idea. But they have never tried to kill her so they are okay with her. "The same as always." as her arms go around me, I feel uncomfortable, and she then let's go.

Alice and Edward share a look like they're talking to one another throw their thoughts or something. "What you have for lunch today," Edward asks; after Edward asks this, Bella's face all but asks, 'What the hell!'

"Oh. I wasn't very hungry, so a small salad and diet Pepsi. Why." at hearing this, Bella looked back at her. "All you had for breakfast was an apple." rolling her eyes, Kari says, "I don't get hungry. Suw me."

"Well, Esma wanted you to have you come over for dinner one day before the wedding so we can go dress shopping. You are maid-of-honour." Without showing it, Kari starts to panic. "No, that's fine, I can do it; just let me know the style I need."

"Oh, whatever you're comfortable in," Bella says. As she Looks out the window. Not care what everyone whare to the wedding
