"you're not a little kid anymore"(vi)

Author's note: this fanfic is based of the scene where jinx nearly dies so silco brings her to singed lab to inject shimmer into her body to save her life. The characters may be a little out of character but I hope it's somewhat understandable to you all.

Jinx glares at vi

"Powder please.." vi mutters with a tint of fear in her voice.

"MY NAME IS JINX!!" Her eyes glow and she runs forward tackling vi to the ground. Vi tries to fight back but she doesn't want to hurt her sister. Jinx then hold a gun at vi's face.

Pure fear spreads across the short-headed girls face. "Powpow no..."

'Do it. Do it. Do it. She deserves it. Sister who left you. Replaced you. Doesn't need you. Left you.' The voices in Jinx's head yells at her.

She shoots.

Everything goes quiet..

Jinx looks down at her sister, "v-vi?" One, two, three seconds go by without a sound or movement from vi, "NONONONONONO" she starts panicking and holds vi tightly. She shakily stands up and sees all the blood her sister is loosing.

She picks violet up and starts running.

She eventually gets vi to singed lab and she looks down at vi, "I CANT LOSE YOU AGAIN!! SINGED!! I NEED HELP!!"

Singed looks down at jinx then at vi, "come in. come in."

She puts vi on the table "I-I think she's dead..."

Singed interrupts her, "I believe I can save her." he ties vi up to the table.

"Thank you so so much!!" Jinx sniffles and wipes her face.

"the process will be demanding though.. sometimes death is a mercy.." He walks away to get the needle ready.

"J-just do it!!"

"and before I begin I must ask, are you prepared to lose her?"

"w-what are you talking about!? No!"

"it's so she will survive. If that's what you really want."

"J-just do it. Get her to come back!"

"I understand.. just know this is for your own sanity." Singed puts the needle in powders neck and then puts her on the chair

"Agh!! V-Vi... n-no.." she closes her eyes and then falls unconscious.

The shimmer goes into vi's body. "ahh!! Agh!! Ahh!! S-Shit!! f-fuckkk!!" Vi shouts in pain.

A little vi and her mother come down the stairs towards her. Vi then sees her mom have baby powder in her arms-rocking her. Baby Powder giggles cutely and smiles.

"you need to be a big girl now. You've got a little sister to protect. You mustn't disappoint me, am I clear?" Little Vi nods. "Atta girl"

Fast forward by two years, little vi is getting shouted at by her mother for scaring powder whilst she had been playing with her.

"Can't you be a decent daughter for once in you're god damn life!! You always scare her!! She's only little!! You got to be more responsible, you're not a little kid anymore."

"I-I'm sorry.. I'll be better.."

"Good girl. Now I got to go out for a while, you'll have to help feed powder for me."

"Okay.."

"Protect your sister whilst I'm gone. Your father will be back later from his meeting."

She nods.

Her mom then changes to vander.
"when people look up to you, you don't get to be selfish. Whatever happens, ITS. ON. YOU."

vander disappears.

Everything flashes back to Vi slapping young powder."BECAUSE YOUR'E A JINX!!! .. MYLO WAS RIGHT!!" Blood. Blood. So much blood. She still feels sick.

Silco then appears and wraps his arms around a scared teenage powder. He smirks with the shimmer needle in his hands.

Vi shouts, "NO NO NO NO!!"

Silco says, "I know this must be very painful."

"AGH!! SHIT NO!! S-STOP!!"

Silco then disappears so vi sees only singed, "I'm afraid this will only get worse."

"NO NO NOOOOO!!" Vi screams her heart out.

A shadow appears in front of her, "you really got yourself hurt. Pathetic. I know you're a wild animal and all, but I still didn't think you was capable enough to get this badly injured. Just shows how weak you really are"

"I-"

"Spare it. You needed a good chat anyway." The shadow raises his bat, letting out his secret of who he is. The Stillwater guard.

"NONONONONO!! S-STOP!!" Vi's sobbing.

He smirks.

A hour later, Jinx's eyes slowly open. She shakily stands up and walks to vi on the table.

Tears go down her face. "Oh vi.."
Jinx strokes her sisters hair away from her face. Looking at the effects of the shimmer. "Not you to.. I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry.."

Jinx then looks at singed, "thankyou.. for saving her.."

He nods then goes off cleaning his hands. Jinx looks back at vi, "..c'mon sis.. Let's get ya up.." She helps vi sit up then shakily to her feet.

Vi nearly falls over but her sister helps her stand. "Powpow..?" Vi's voice is shaky.

She sighs. "Hmhm that's me.." Jinx looks at vi's new shimmer coloured eyes in silence.

"You okay?" Vi's voice echoes.

"Huh..?" Jinx pauses. "You literally nearly died and you're asking if I'm okay!?"

Vi shrugs. "I'll be fine.. just wanted to see if my sister is okay.."

Powder smiles a little, "yes, yes I'm good Violet.. how about you? How ya feeling?"

"Like shit."

Powder chuckles, "yeah well, been there done that."

Vi hums to herself.
