Short-term daze(pov: powder but focused on vi)

Summary:
Young vi suffers from seizures daily and her family are there beside her through it.

POV young powder:

Her frequent body movements scared me the most. The way her eyes would close and go into a weird state like today. Even if she tried to warn us that she feels this weird unusual sensation, meaning it's about to begin like it always does. Nothing can stop it.

We was supposed to have a normal day, whatever normal day looks like for us. Going to benzo's shop to see little man. Today was supposed to be a chill day. Before it happened again.

Me and my sister was walking with our brothers: claggor and mylo. I noticed the look in her eyes. "Vi?"

Her voice is muffled, "I feel faint.."

They all stop walking, immediately taking to action. "Sit down.." claggor commands gently but firmly.

Vi agreeds and shakily sits down with her back against a wall in a alleyway.

"I'll go get Vander.." mylo runs off, leaving us with vi.

"She's going to be okay right?" I mumble, frightened about what's about to come.

"We're with her, so I'm sure she'll be okay.." claggor makes sure everything is out of the way.

That's when it begins.

Her eyes shut, then her body begins to uncontrollably jerk about. Mainly her arms and legs. My heart starts beating faster in complete fear. Claggor notices.

"It's okay. Remember what we always do?"

I nod. I get out a watch Ekko gave me and I turn it on, keeping an eye on the time.

The red/pink-headed girl's head then starts hitting the wall loudly. Claggor immediately puts his hand behind it so she doesn't hurt herself.

This carries on for about two more minutes till it calms down a little. Her eyes open, followed by confusion and an empty expression. She doesn't speak or show any signs of being free from the sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain just yet. Which gives me the smallest amount of hope.

I look closely at her eyes and I smile thinking it's over. Oh, how naive I was. Eyes close again and the body of the 14 year old starts jerking about again violently. My heart drops. Watching it in horror.

Eventhough I see it happen nearly every day or so, it still feels scary to watch.

Vander: our adopted father comes running closer with mylo next to him. "You guys alright?"

I point at vi nervously. Vander goes next to Violet, putting his hand behind her head so that claggor can retrieve his own hand. He watches her protectively.

"It's going to be okay kiddo.." vander's voice even sounds nervous.

A few more silent seconds later of the young girl jerking about, it all comes to a stop. She opens her exhaustive eyes and she looks confused like before but differently. A minute goes by as the others and I, give her space to calm herself down.

Vander's voice is soft, "You feeling okay to go back home? Or we can stay for a bit here to make sure.."

"No I'm okay to go home.." she looks down. "Thanks.."

Vander helps her up and slowly starts walking back home with her protectively focused on her movements incase she goes back into another seizure.

Claggor comes up to me, "piggy back ride?"

I nod shakily then jump up onto his shoulders and cling to him tightly. "Everything's going to be okay.." claggor reminds me.

Yeah. I hope so. I really do.

Hey!! I'd like to tell you all, I do not currently suffer from seizures at all in any way. I've witnessed them so I know what they can look like. However, if I've written it incorrectly or used bad terminology PLEASE tell me right away.

Obviously I'm aware this is no where near as cannon to the show but I thought it would be interesting to write about.

I tried not to fancy it or make it "quirky" or "unrealistic" best as possible. So hopefully it's realistic enough to everyone's standards since seizures are a serious topic where many people have to go through daily.
