Taehyun sat at his desk as the teacher babbled about something he wouldn't care less about, he had his eyes fixed on the window near him watching a certain black-haired male jogging here and there in the grass field, too focused on his match,
'he's doing great' he thought at the sight of the older male, the look of joy Beomgyu had on his face every time he scored a point against other newbies made Taehyun realize how much the older liked the sport.
The bell rang signalling the morning break, Taehyun stood up in a rush packing his stuff quickly before running to the grass field, where the older was
Beomgyu grabbed his bottle, took a sip of water, then noticed someone approaching him, light blue hair,
"Hi," he heard the male greeting in his hearty voice waving at him,
He waved back approaching him as well, "You were great earlier I doubt it's your first time playing a match"
Beomgyu scratched the back of his head answering "I've been the team's captain in my previous school"
"Ooh...then we must have a lot in common," the blue-haired male said before extending his hand to Beomgyu, who didn't hesitate to take it into his
"Choi Yeonjun, the captain"
"Choi Beomgyu"
Both males smiled shaking their hands,
"Hyung" a singsong voice called from afar, Yeonjun moved his gaze to the source of it, a tiny figure with red hair, he was jumping and waving with both hands in their direction, he recognised him as the boy that was with Beomgyu the day he bumped into the latter,
Beomgyu took his hand out of the older's hold and ran to the younger male,
"You did great" Taehyun complimented the older with a cute smile,
"Thanks" Beomgyu replied with a wide smile, then
went to change,
Taehyun sat on a chair in the locker room waiting for Beomgyu to get done, he watched as the two well-known tall figures entered chatting with each other,
Choi Yeonjun and Choi Soobin, the black-haired male tripped into something, only for it to turn out to be Taehyun's feet,
Soobin lifted his gaze to the younger, not even bothering to hide his angry expression, he sighed out of annoyance and left with his blue-haired friend
Taehyun watched as the taller's silhouette disappeared, he was about to apologise but the older didn't seem in the mood to listen to him,
Taehyun heard Beomgyu getting out of the shower, all dressed up, they then went to their next class
Taehyun's mind was occupied by Soobin's behaviour for the whole hour, he doesn't like to get looked down at, and that Soobin seemed to feel himself
He was taken off guard by the bell ringing, signalling lunchtime, the two boys left together to the cafeteria as usual, ordered their food and took their seats
Only for Beomgyu to hear his name being called out by someone, he observed as a blue-haired male approached them with a plate in his hands
Yeonjun took a seat facing Beomgyu, he greeted the two boys but noticed Taehyun's eyes fixed behind him, he turned around to see Soobin standing there, holding his plate, and looking at the younger boys scornfully
Yeonjun let out a sigh and pulled him down to the seat next to him, "come on, you'll get used to them" he mumbled in the boy's ear reassuringly
Soobin just looked down at his plate and started eating not sparing a single glimpse of the other three males
Taehyun had an angry expression on his face by now, he's been watching the black-haired male since his arrival and he was really getting on his nerves, Taehyun didn't like it there, Beomgyu and Yeonjun chatting together, Soobin sitting there on his own with those annoyed facial expressions, Taehyun didn't feel lonely over this, he was mad and he doesn't know why
Taehyun stood up and pushed his chair back harshly, which caused everyone to look at him, including Beomgyu who was confused as hell
The black blonde-highlighted haired male stood up following his friend, only to feel a grip around his wrist, which belonged to Yeonjun
"He probably has something up, finish your plate first?"
Beomgyu sat back hesitantly and kept chatting with the older until the end of the lunch break, he then headed to his next class hoping to find taehyun
