Taehyun advanced with small steps through the court, his slender fingers holding a bottle of lemon juice close to his chest, as his big eyes wandered around the area looking for a certain player,

An adorable smile made its way through Taehyun's lips as he spotted Beomgyu with Yeonjun and a fellow of their team members taking their breathes, the younger accelerated his tiny steps approaching their area with the juice in his hands, it was the same one he bought for Beomgyu the last game,

As he was about to reach them, sounds of teasing cheers surrounded the court, he halted his steps to check what was it, only to find a slender petite figure standing right in front of Beomgyu, it was a girl that Taehyun has always spotted among Beomgyu's spectators during his games, she was shorter than him, arm extended offering him a bottle, a lemon juice bottle with a shy grin on her face,

Beomgyu's teammates teased him by cheering loudly, which explains the voices earlier.

If you come to think about it, it was a cute scenery, Beomgyu was quite lost and startled by the sudden move but managed to put on his sweetest smile while thanking her for the drink,

Taehyun's grip tightened around the bottle as he turned around and marched his way back, he threw the bottle in the first trash bin that came into sight and found his way to the cafeteria,

He sat at one of his favorites tables at the corner and rested his head on the window nearby, this is how his lunch breaks used to be before Beomgyu came into his life and developed the rooftop habit with him,

'That's how it was supposed to be since the beginning'.

'How could a perfect guy like him take you as his lifetime companion'.

'He would've found perfect friends for him sooner or later'.

Taehyun jumped from his seat, covering his ears to block the sounds, nails gripping into his red locks tightly, head hung low to his knees,

Soobin's steps were heard through the whole empty cafeteria, as he walked towards the exit door with three water bottles in his hands, obviously for his friends as he was still wearing his jersey, he suddenly got caught off by a loud quick, and shallow breathing echoing in the room, Soobin could tell that this person was fuming with anger.

As he approached a bit more, a kneeling figure started getting more noticeable, when he observed the red locks, he instantly knew it was that introverted so-called tiny boy who was always with Beomgyu. As Soobin wasn't good with words, nor did he have any interest in this boy he decided not to ask and just take a glance and leave.

Just when he was done checking on him and wanted to leave, the younger lifted his head and stared at him angrily, and Soobin was hundred percent sure something seemed off.

Taehyun pierced through his soul with fierce siren eyes, he looked intimidating,

Soobin didn't quite know how to react, he stood there when he caught a vehement yell

"The fuck you're looking at?"

It would be a lie to say that didn't frighten the shit out of him, but he remained calm, he turned around slowly and made his way out of the cafeteria with scrunched-up eyebrows.

It wasn't about the fact that someone yelled at him, he wouldn't care less about that, but it actually was about Taehyun, he looked too different that Soobin couldn't help to wonder what kind of a big problem happened to make him this furious.

"You can leave now, Hyung"

"Let's stay together longer, I don't feel like going back now." Beomgyu pleaded with a pout, hoping it will somehow convince the younger.

"But I'm on shift today." Taehyun declared in his soft voice.

Beomgyu brightened at the younger's response,
"Great then, let's grab a coffee"

Taehyun sensed his arm being dragged toward the direction leading to 'Magic Cafe',

And he may, or may not have a soft smile on.

Taehyun hung his head low busying his delicate hands with the drink he was making, he didn't need to look up to see the black haired seated across the counter,

The young lad peeked through his lashes due to the ringing voice echoing in his ears, as he expected, it was Hueningkai,

"Hey" This boy reflects a dazzling and vivacious soul, Taehyun assumed he liked socializing since the first day,

and guess...it may not be that bad to go with the flow?

Taehyun kind of felt bad for the tall brunette, he probably wanted to befriend him.

But...

'It's alright, let's do it'

'But Wait...not again Taehyun'

'It WILL be okay, Taehyun'

'No...!!'

Hueningkai was startled by the way Taehyun shook his head, he was clearly zoning out at the moment,

"Hey, what's up?" Hueningkai mumbled to his co-worker, palm positioned on his right shoulder

Taehyun averted his round eyes to the hand on his shoulder hesitantly, and back up to the eyes of its owner,

He slowly then looked at the man in front of him, his best friend. Beomgyu sent a light wave to the younger the moment he noticed his eyes bored into him,

The brunette next to his friend did not go unnoticed by the eldest of the three, he recognized him as a part-timer there, just like taehyun, nevertheless, Beomgyu's mind was only occupied by the cherry haired staring at him, he's been doing so for quite a while,

and Beomgyu couldn't help the confusion building up in his insides.

Taehyun just smiled at his buddy, it was a very soft smile, just his lips' corners quirking up slowly, and that was offered to none other than Beomgyu.

'It has always been alright with Beomgyu Hyung'

"Don't worry, it's nothing, thank you though" Taehyun thought this was the least he could tell the friendly brunette,

They both chuckled slightly before going back to work.

But Beomgyu, though...

He couldn't take his eyes off the two males, one minute Taehyun is not budging his eyes off him, and the next one he was immersed in whatever conversation he had with the other staff.

But one thing is for sure,

He never recognized that boy as Taehyun's friend,

By the end of the day

Taehyun had only one friend, and that was Beomgyu.
