Si-eun looked out the car window, watching the traffic.

She had left Joong-Gil alone after the conversation they had had. She hadn't the heart to stay with him and wait to see how he would react after seeing his past with Koo Ryeon.

And now, that was all she could imagine.

Had something changed after finding out what happened?

Si-eun swallowed hard.

— Where were you earlier?

She looked away from the window and stared at Ryung-gu's reflection in the car's rearview mirror.

— I was in Joong-Gil's office. We were talking.

— I thought you two had broken up.

Si-eun frowned slightly.

— We weren't in a relationship.

Ryung-gu sighed and shook his head in disappointment.

— I don't understand why you keep forgiving him. This is already the second or third time he has hurt your feelings. - He turned his head to the side in an attempt to make eye contact. — Why do you insist so much on this?

— Ryung-gu. - Jun-woong interrupted him. — You'd better leave her alone. Si-eun knows what's best for her.

— I just don't understand.

Jun-woong gave him an irritated look.

Si-eun stared at her hands, which were resting on her lap.

He wasn't wrong. But Si-eun couldn't just cut off contact with Joong-Gil and not forgive him.

Not feeling what she felt.

— I guess that's what happens when you love someone. - she whispered.

— You don't have to explain yourself, Si-eun. - Jun-woong said, and then looked at his two friends. — We're here.

Si-eun looked around, seeing a nearby building through the window.

— Why are we here?

— Look at this. - Jun-woong said, showing a live feed on his iPad. Si-eun leaned forward to get a better view. — This building is in the background of all the videos of the man Mrs. Koo hit.

— And what makes you think she will show up? - Ryung-gu asked.

— He keeps teasing her.

They waited, watching the broadcast for any sign of Koo Ryeon's presence, and then got out of the car, rushing toward the building.

— You can leave. - Koo Ryeon said.

They had followed Koo Ryeon to the rooftop. Si-eun looked at her apprehensively. She didn't even look at them.

Jun-woong stepped toward her.

— You have to stop.

The three of them started trying to convince her to go back to Jumadeung with them.

Si-eun was really worried about Koo Ryeon, and if she didn't stop now, her punishment would be even worse.

— Choi-hui needs you. - Si-eun looked at her. — You know that you have to stop. That what you're doing isn't right.

Koo Ryeon stared at her, considering what they had said.

— Is it a team get-together? Aren't you all very chatty?

They looked back, seeing a group of men approaching.

One of them leaned to the side, looking directly at Koo Ryeon.
