Chapter 6: Squilliam?

Three knocks are heard from downstairs.
A familiar but slightly different nasally "Huh" was spoken followed by footsteps. The squishy sound of suction cup filled tentacles filled the tower's spacious rooms.

The door to Squilliam's house creaks open.
"Who are you?" The squid says.
"SpongeBob SquarePants" He can barely cram the words through his gapped smile.
"Oh"

Just as Squilliam was about to shut the door in front of this new guest, SpongeBob slips his shiny black shoe right into the gap of the door.

"One second before you go?" SpongeBob manipulates his high pitched voice to controll Squilliam.

"What is it?"

"Have you seen Squidward Tentacles?"

"Uhm- (he hasn't heard that name since attending Bikini Bottom High School) not recently no."

"Thanks I guess, I'll get going-" SpongeBob gets cut short.

"Why do you ask?"

"It's a long story but I need to see him."

"Come in I can tell you a little bit about that Squidward."

After atleast an hour and thirty minutes of Squilliam explaining his hatred towards Squidward over two whole tea kettles of hot tea, SpongeBob has had enough.

"I see how you view Squidward but I have the complete opposite feelings for him. You see I feel passion yes, but." A pause of silence. "I should get going, thank you for the tea."

Squilliam doesn't flinch or move, not even a blink. He lets SpongeBob exit and move on.

Thinking to himself, "I don't like his attitude, or the way he fixes his hair, why is he so stuck up, Squidward is way better at clarinet, why brag about your wealth when working at the Krusty Krab is a lot more fulfilling."
SpongeBob had Squilliam on his mind the whole walk to Tentacle Acres.

Little does SpongeBob know is Squidward and Squilliam weren't always enemies.
