Part 3

As it was the coldest month so Khushi's frequency to visit cafes increased. After almost a month, One day when Arnav was ordering his coffee he saw from the glass wall Khushi was coming toward the cafe. Today she was wearing a white sweater & blue jeans. Light & dark blue scarf was casually thrown around the neck. He ordered coffee for both of them. When Khushi entered in cafe Arnav waved to her.

Today is my treat.

Khushi was a little surprised & answered- Oh, so you are paying for that day.

That's not possible. For That, you have to snatch from me & you don't look like that person & then they both laughed.

Hey, Rita please include one slice of blueberry pastry too in Sir's order. She pointed towards Arnav.

They took their order and moved towards an empty table. So what do you do? Arnav asked.

I am in Finance.

I heard Finance people are misers but you are not. You pay for strangers. But I must say finance suits your personality.

But sometimes when I travel by train or bus people ask me if I am in the police dept. She looked at Arnav & smiled.

Do you scare them?

I don't know. I am as I am. You tell me, you just commented that Finance suits my personality.

I wanted to convey that your personality suits a serious & tough job, so it can be Finance, police, scientist.

So what do you do? she asked after taking a sip from her mug.

your guess?

Businessman!!

Can you also guess which business?

I am not a Kholi wale baba? How can I guess?

Who is Kholi wale baba?

I don't know. I picked up this line in my childhood. People used to visit a place called Kholi wale baba.

So do you come daily here? Taking the conversation forward, Arnav asked.

Noooo, I am not so rich. I come whenever I am in the mood for coffee, specifically in the winter season. Otherwise, I prefer tea. You definitely look like a coffee person.

Yeah, that's true. First thing in the morning I need a hot cup of coffee. Sometimes when I am not satisfied with the coffee prepared at home or get cold due to my work or negligence. So instead of getting more infuriated by my mother or sister, I prefer to come here. Another reason is that coffee is good & cheap here. Who would not like to save a few bucks? His eyes were filled with humor. Khushi understood what he wanted to say so she asked-

Did you take these suits on rent? They look quite expensive.

Hey...They are exclusively mine. You are spoiling my image Khushi. The coffee in this cafe is really good.

Don't repeat it. If the owner will come to know that a richi rich is praising so openly then he will increase the rates & where we middle-class people will go. After finishing her talk, She glanced at her watch. I have to go, Duty calls. Thanks for the coffee & cake. Bye Arnav.

Hey Khushi, Let's meet sometimes here in a cafe only.

Khushi thought for a while. Ok, No issue. I am staying nearby only. But only this time suits me. What about you? Will it be feasible for you?
