Part 6

They spent almost one year together and now he really wanted to explore their relationship. They started to text each other on daily bases after 2 months of the 1st meeting.  After 3 to 4 days, one of the two would also call each other & share their daily routine. They had their coffee together fortnightly. Friendship with Khushi was like a cool breeze that relaxed body and mind. Although he liked many things about Khushi, the best thing that struck him was that she was a genuine person. He was falling more for her with each passing day. So he decided to ask for a date. When they met the next time, Arnav was a little anxious about how Khushi would react. But still, he showed courage & kept it very simple.

Khushi, I want to say something. 

Yeah,

Will you go on a date with me? 

Her face was a little flushed. She didn't know how to react. After a long time, someone asked this question. Finally, she looked straight into Arnav's eye and answered. Arnav you know, I never had a relationship. I am not interested in all the stuff. 

Khushi you told me that people usually pretend. But we know each other since last year. I never pretended & I am sure you are what you are. So we can try. You are a mature person you can see genuinely. 

They were quiet for a few minutes. Why do you want to date me? I am an ordinary girl. You can find a better girl than me. 

Few emotions flickered in his eyes. I have feelings for you. In simple words I like you. I look forward to our meetings. I like to spend time with you. 

 I like your company too, but just as a friend. I never thought about anything else. 

I understand. But you can think now. I told you about my feelings. Talk with yourself & decide what you want. Take your time. I am going to London for 15 days. So you have lots of time. Sleep on it & then decide. 

Every person has his own ways to show love. Love is not only a romantic dinner, it is also loving to satisfy the hunger of another by giving half of your chapati. 

 Love is not only gazing into each other's eyes, Looking in the same direction can also be love.

Love is not only to give a bone crush hug to each other, it can be just giving a brief look to check if he or she is fine. 

Love is not only to say 'I love you' but it can be giving a genuine smile when you meet. 

Love is not only to whisper sweet words in each other's ear, it can be sitting silently by your partner's side when he or she is in distress. So love has many forms. It is important to read those gestures to understand those silent words. We humans take time to understand this type of love, read those gestures, to feel these feelings. 

Love is a very deep feeling.  To understand the depth of love they both had to take a few more steps. There was still a little more to wait.  just a little more to understand each other. 

In actuality, both have different perspectives.  For Arnav, the meaning of love was to go on dates, exchange gifts, have candlelight dinner & have romantic conversations. Khushi was totally different case. She has lots of love in her heart but she was totally blank about romance. Let's see how their love story goes ahead.

Khushi's dilemma

For the First time, Khushi was scared. Scared about the situation. Scared about her decision. She was not sure what to do. In 26 years, she never faced this type of situation. When she was in college one boy showed interest in her. But she literally scared him. After that, she was always cautious.
