Those Who Remain - "Multiverse"

It was nighttime at the Multiverse Research Laboratory at the undisclosed location where the researchers were having a field day researching this new anomaly..or subject patient zero also known as the Bloater that was found at location..[REDACTED],[DATA EXPUNGED]

They were having some tests on the "Subject X" by sending in some lab rats also known as Class-D.

Researcher#1:"send in the test subjects.."

The chamber door opens and then three men in a orange jumpsuit entered the chamber..the door closes right behind them.

Test Subject#1:"what's going on?"

Test Subject#2:"I don't know man...this seems kinda odd to me.."

Test Subject#3:"yeah..I just want out of her so I can have those big beautiful waifus to myself."

Test Subject#1:"really man?"

Test Subject#3:"yeah, I'm serious. So what- ARRGH!"

The results were...rather horrifying.. as one Class-D#3 had met fate worse than death..getting infected.

The reason was..the bloater threw a spore cluster at the poor test subjects..two of them coughed as they inhaled the spore virus while the other was now infected..the infected test subject started to attack the other test subjects.

The researchers were watching and writing notes as the Bloater and the infected test subject continued the attack the poor test subjects..

Researcher#1:"alright, military team.. contain the subjects, I believe the test was an absolute success."

The squadron got their guns and then dragged the nearly dead Class-D off the chamber..but they didn't noticed that they were already infected..the eyes quickly glowed and turned red and then proceed to attack the military team which there was a fight..but not only that.. the bloater threw a spore cluster at the team which they were killed and infected..with the virus..the Bloater infected

Researcher:"sound the alarm! containment breach! I repeat, containment breach!"

The infected had arrived at the observer room and then attacked the researchers and infect them...the researchers tried to run but failed as they were killed and now turned into one of them.

The alarms go off and the military units got their weapons and then positioned themselves in a group of firing squads..they were ready for the worst..then the infected horde were running towards them snarling and growling..the military team opened fire which killed some of them..then the bloater had arrived and then was slowly approaching towards the group, it threw another spore cluster which they were killed and now infected..
